You talked about the carriage scene being long.. I don't know if you know this , but the actors said that at one point the director was saying : "Cut! Cut!" and they were so immersed in the scene they didn't hear the director and they kept going XD and they did a wonderful job 🤣

I loved S2 more than S1, because of the maturity of the love, the chemistry itself spoke more to me, it was different from S1 which was a very nice introduction to this world. I ugly cried so much watching Queen Charlotte season, this one has a special place

Colin is desperately trying to hide how he feels. The family calls pen a "friend" but he tries to low key make her a "family acquaintance". Not labeling her friend cause you don't date your friend. And "she will find a guy in no time" gets a "that of course is the hope". The way he says it, he knows he is supposed to hope that she finds a man soon but thats the last thing he hopes for right now. Friend colin and suitor colin have very conflicting thoughts. He is just so conflicted between what he is supposed to feel and what he actually feels. And he is verbally trying to remove pen from the friendzone for himself and his family. 😂 So its ok if he goes after her. He is just so conflicted and insec^re.😂
Right! Seeing him so conflicted about his feelings was entertaining to watch. Cause he was kinda boring when he was playing the field. Even though seeing him flirt with all the ladies was entertaining as well. All in all I’m a fan of Colin 😌
@@aerickatenice Him flirting is kinda like pen's LW. Colin knows the ton expects him to be manly and go after women and not care. So in order to people please he puts on that m*sk. To hide the little softy underneath who cares too much. Pen is the opp*site. She knows society wants her to be the softy who lets others walk all over her. And women shouldn't be bright. But the real pen is LW. The one who sees through bs and tells it like it is "what my lady wants my lady gets". Pen should stand up for herself and not tolerate others trying to keep her down. And colin needs to realise he is a little softy, scr*w the ton. Funny enough both colin and pen can be themselves with each other, its the society they hide from, both by creating a m*sk to hide behind.

My fave was also S1 of the regular seasons, I agree with you abt S2 even though it seems most ppl disagree. Have you seen Queen Charlotte?? Defo recommend! It's my fave one even though it's not part of the regular series!
Daphne & Simon is unmatched (at least for now)… because I’m loving Penelope & Colin this season . Yes I watched Queen Charlotte & I loved that series as well.
The gold standard is S1. Each progressive season borrows a little or a lot from season 1, and each time I was reminded that S1 did it better and did it first.

FINALLY someone that doesn't like season 2 more than season 1! I really don't understand why Kate and Anthony are being celebrated this much. I didn't sense much chemistry there and also the story was sometimes boring and sometimes even annoying and unplausible. I just watched it once and never wish to watch it again. But season 1 and 3 (at least part 1) I would watch again.
Yeah I totally agree with you! They out did themselves in season 1 & the new season. I can see myself watching season 3 repeatedly. Cause part 2 can only get better as the story continue to unfold.
I definitely felt the chemistry in season 2, but people who stan that season act like the others don't compare, which I disagree with. People have such strong opinions on which one is the best. Polin is probably my favorite couple, but I enjoy all the other seasons and their couples as well.
@@mkg2124 All seasons are great. It’s just personal preference on which couple is your favorite. Some people do have strong opinions of it when it’s never that deep lol.

In the first two seasons Francesca was played by a different actress, she wasn't in many scenes, because she was also involved in another show. For season three they have a new actress.

Was that Kim Kardashian? I feel bad for Emma Robert’s she is a great actress and now she must share screen with KK who didn’t get there for her amazing acting. Like imagine you are a professional actor and learn that from all the talented people in the world KK got the job.
Well I think Kim did an amazing job in the show. The role she played was perfect for her. She was able to work with professional actresses like Emma, so she had great support & guidance behind the scenes. To me it doesn’t matter how she got there, just how she performed & again I think she did well for this being a first time on a show like this. ☺️

The finale was so goodd. Anna had the power from Siobhan (bcs when u join the cult you’re granted power) with also power given to her by Hestia and won against her abusers. I’m glad she had a happy ending.

I really like this season for several reasons. But I hate that this episode was only 33 minutes long. And what's even worse is the season finale, The Autuer, is shorter than this episode. How are they going to wrap everything up and explain everything else in like 30 minutes flat?

this episode pulls at your heart strings a little for somebody like anna everybody looks at her like she’s stuck up and only wants the fame and in a way it’s absolutely true, but we all know that’s not her true side and all she wants to do is be a mother and have a family with dex. she has lots of demons especially now ☠️ but when we thought she lost the baby it was heartbreaking.
I use to think that as well but after recent episode my perspective on Anna changed. But it was very sad when she lost the baby & now we know why this happened…
