6.7 check engine light on
This is some old, old, old footage filmed with my phone. It was just a quick shot of the codes that cropped up. The truck went to another tech in the shop for a the repairs as I was leaving the next day for vacation. The truck got a egr cooler core and egt sensor with a manual regen for the repair.

2016 F350. I had just topped off my DEF tank with good quality DEF. Within two miles I got an error code, and the "50 miles until limp mode" warning came on. By the time I got home I had less than 30 miles to go until limp mode. Code reader stated P207F - Control Module Indeterminate. As I live very remote, and suspecting a glitch based upon having just topped off the DEF, I got my truck up to operating temperature and followed the driving sequence described in the video. 3 episodes of light to moderate acceleration followed by coasting for 6 seconds after each, and then 5 episodes of hard acceleration for 3 seconds each. The limp mode warning cleared, affording me time to see if it happens again, and to be in better position to get to a dealer if necessary. Thanks for the info and video, it is greatly appreciated! Too bad this kind of easy to follow instruction is not in the Owner's Manual!! Well done my friend!

ignorant engineering!! When a belt goes out and leaves someone stranded or on the side of the road, it's supposed to be a simple fix!! And everything in this video looks easy compared to the reality doing this underneath the car in a tight space.

Stripped a bolt on the exhaust manifold flange when trying to replace my EGR. I already had to brute force the DPF off for replacement using an angle grinder and cutting off a couple of sensors nozzles and then cutting clean around the DPF flange tailpipe side. Now I get the privilege of either extracting out the bolt or replacing the whole exhaust manifold all because of a stupid bolt. I'm going to have a hell of a time getting through the titanium bolt head, regardless... Either I've had the worst luck or replacing these emissions systems is not as easy as people like to claim online. Thanks for this video, this may come in handy for me in the near future!

I hope you don't pay the customer per hour because it takes you an hour just to fumble around and find what you need to do the work and get started to try to diagnose the issue. Most of your video is you fumbling around trying to get ready and get help from a co-worker. Are you really a mechanic? Boring and snore.
