Hi there, my name is Sean and I'm an avid DIYer. After retiring with 27 years in the Air Force, as first an aircraft mechanic then a public affairs broadcaster, I wanted to put my woodworking hobbyest and video production skills to good use. I am by no means an expert woodworker, but I love trying new things and using my imagination to see what I can create. I have a lot of ideas for projects I want to build as I go through remodeling my house and I'd thought I share what I come up with. I hope that I can help others find the passion I have for building and just doing things myself.
So let's build a community where we can all learn from each other and have fun creating things!

Fix a Bathroom Vent Fan, Cheap and Easy!
Here is any easy and cheap fix for a bathroom vent fan. No special tools are required, just a couple of screw drivers and an adjustable wrench.
Changing out the entire vent fan fixture and be a hassle, so let's try changing the motor first and see if that works.

Atomstack asked if I would do an honest review of their P7 M30 Portable Laser Engraver. I gotta say this intro-level engraver is pretty cool. I'm definitely going to keeping playing with this little machine and see what I can come up with. Look for more ...

Why would you put down the camera ans switch to far away?
What size are those blast gates?
How bad is the overspray for painting indoors?
I did similar thing in my previous shop when tools shared space with 2 cars. Worked well.
Great idea thanks for sharing!
Run water through entire system before turning ppwer on
I don't want grease splattering that close to my camper
Awesome thanks
Great video. Get the round attachment for it. It cleans much area much faster😊.
Decided to go ahead and get this Ryobi 2000 pressure washer to see if I could get better results than from the smaller machine I had been using for the past 4 years. The smaller unit actually did a great job in cleaning my driveway, but didn't have a very wide nozzle setting and it would take forever to clean a large space. I also purchased the Ryobi 12-inch surface cleaner, and also the Ryobi multi-nozzle. The nozzle has 5 settings on it, and I'm glad I got these two extra parts. The surface cleaner definitely makes it a lot faster to clean large areas. Thanks for the video, helped me get everything set up.
Where you get the software
It was free software that I googled
Hey great setup for a small shop. I’m looking to do something similar and found your video. Any issues with static electricity on the pipe or hoses? If so how did you solve that?
Lol, you put ear protection but have the cat next to you, good job.
Will you please let me know if with soap in the canister I can only use it to clean with water? In other words, does the soap canister have an on/off valve? ** GREAT PRESENTATION ** Thanks!
Thanks Carlos. There isn’t an on/off valve on the soap container. If you have anything in it, it will draw it out as you use the washer.
Great video. How much do you charge for a job like this?
You did well with sharing the video. I hope you will continue to review more products.
No close ups on the small parts to assemble.
Great practical and convenient Sean - very well done
Thanks!
Please spend more time on the spray handle that part confusing
You shouldn't run water thru your tip if you wanna keep them functional

Enjoyed your presentation. Very natural approach. Cheers!
Thanks John!
can you use a taller chain (#41) ? same pitch and link length, just taller than the original part .. original is a craftsman btw
Thank you, very helpful!
You’re welcome, I’m glad you liked the video!
This is awesome.
Thanks!
I could've swore my vacuum came with a locking nut for the filter I lost it now I'm watching your video and you don't have one so idk if maybe I imagined it or what's going on.
What is he doing guessing. I think that’s the reason for the instruction booklet. And if I assemble something what I do first is to do a parts list check
Did you ever figure out how to lube the piston? I have the oil, but there are no instructions on how to lube it.
Can I paint my wife’s spray tan lotion with one of these? I don’t know why she needs it as she is black but whatever. It takes me bout an hour to get her lotion all on her in one setting so I am thinking about getting this sprayer. Let me know
13:27 13:27 Thank you for sharing! It was super helpful!
You’re welcome Sylvia, thanks for watching!
Sean, it’s a pleasure watching you. You have a good way of teaching just by showing.😊
Thanks Bill!
Great and simple setup. Just one minor comment on arrangement, reconfigure the wye so that the single end goes to the shop vac. That way when you decide to use the extra port you won’t run into a clogging issue. By that I mean, when you try and pull dust from that side, the abrupt change in direction will cause dust to be left behind and potentially build up creating a clog.
Thanks for the feedback David!
So has anyone figured out what the extra little piece of 3/4 hose is for? I thought it was an extension, but there's no coupler/nipple in the box, and the manual doesn't mention it...
What kind of hose and connector do you have for the back of the pressure washer? Thanks for making this video
It’s just a regular water hose. The pressure washer came with a quick disconnect adapter that screws onto the end of the hose.
@@SeanDoesDIY thank you
Go Air Force!!! Thanks for your service. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I just used one of these on my 2600 psi gas powered washer..done a great job..it was 1800 psi max...worked good
Thanks 👍🏼
Filter screws off FYI for anyone.
When priming the gun with paint and cleaning out the hose and gun with water, put on clean setting instead of spray, or remove thw tip all together so you dont make a mess with it spraying into bucket. But i like putting it on clean tip setting and spraying to clean the tip a bit before cleaning like you did with thw handle. If getting lines at the top and bottom of fan turn up pressure when painting. Each oaint different. Great video just passing on some things i learned with mine. Also, always use storage fluid. Keeps seals in the pump good and stops any rusting or freezing of water inside the pump.
Haha tip instructions are on the tip packaging which most people tear up when getting started then cant read haha. Using the tip itself with the little pin end helps for anyone watching. Also helps remove the tip gasket thing as well
Srill cant get a straight answer on what othwr tips, like graco or wagner fit this. Lookjng at racX tips but witht eh tip guard being red, if its like graco, it would be graco rac 4 or 5. Dont want to waste the money to find out they dont fit lol
I'm getting one next week. $249 marked down to $199 at harbor freight. I liked your video dude. Thanx. Mike
Thanks Mike!
Great info. Very complete walkthrough. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks!
5 minutes in makes me not to want to buy this saw.
The filter in the spray gun is removable and replaceable.Harbor freight sells it.
great video Sean. I have the same saw and plan to do the same thing to free up floor space. I have a small kreg router table now on a roller stand that eats up space in my small basement shop. I have some 3/4 inch melamine that I plan to use for the top. BTW, I am also retired Air Force. What did you do?
Too many cools
One of the best reviews and unboxing I've seen. Thank you!
