LOL, I know what you mean. We are using custom built teams (we drafted the players) for this league. So you will find players on teams you would have never expected to see them play on. And to me, Larmer will always be a Hawk. I know he won the Cup with the Rangers....but it just never seemed right to see him in a different uniform.

@@NHL94Podcast Larms is so underrated. Dude didn’t miss a single game from 82’ to 93’. Hawks management were idiots (Dollar Bill Wirtz) and wouldn’t pay him what he most certainly deserved for his service to the Indian Head. I was really happy for him when he won the cup with the Rags. What a warrior he was.

@@ToddCrispies 100%. I think he broke the record that Doug Jarvis held. Playing that many games in a row for a sport that is rough as hockey shows something.

@@NHL94Podcast it really is incredible. Not paying Larmer (one the hardest working 2way forwards in the game) and subsequently trading him to NY marked the beginning of many bad trades from the Hawks. (Roenick, Belfour, Chelios)

He is such a beast on the Genesis version of '94 because of the weight bug and he is very light

We play online using an emulator. It is a modified version of the Genesis NHL '94 ROM. Hope this answers your question 😀

The league isn't historically accurate. We pick a team, draft players, and go from there. We are simply using players who played in 1989 and their attributes at based on their skills from that year.

ROFL! NHL Hockey was such a giant leap forward. I'll never forget the first time I saw it and was in awe it had real players (numbers only). The presentation was epic!

Yeah he was a solid player. Not a superstar like the current #8 but a really good player.
