BIMBA BIMBA

BIMBA is the only civil society organization in Kiribati working around advocacy, awareness, and action for anti-discrimination against gay men, bisexual men, and transwomen who are locally known as "binabinaine". It was established in 2016 by and for binabinaine in Kiribati. As such, the main purpose of creating this channel is to create a virtual platform for BIMBA to share its advocacy and awareness campaign videos and other resources.
BIMBA Beach Wear 2023
The highlight of BIMBA's Beach Wear & Swimming Competition for its 2023 Biennial Beauty Pageant. This also coincided with the World AIDS Day 2023 and World International Human Rights 2023 hence the Candle Vigil for members of BIMBA who were lost their lives due to discrimination, stigma and violence towards them because of being true to themselves as, proud binabinaine.

This is the highlight of the event held on June 30th 2021 by BIMBA that included some awareness campaigns for antidiscrimination towards gay men, bisexual men and transwomen otherwise known in Kiribati as "binabinaine". The event was funded by the Equal Rights in Action from the US and the film was made by Victor Photography and had been approved for public sharing.
