When people say Obama can't do anything to help inner city violence, I say he can support this. Either with federal funding or, if he can't get approval to spend federal dollars on youth advocacy and violence prevention, then by making publicized speeches encouraging governors or mayors to allocate money in their budgets for programs like this.
