I never implied this was a new gimmick or anything. I just said I love doing this gimmick because when people see an empty dash like that, most of the time they try to react with a grab tech, parry, block, or using lights. But never really account of Raging demon and it works 99% of the time. That's why I still love doing this specific gimmick lmao.

good ol times. i miss those times. i come back for some offline gameplay against some veteran bots with the mod on to kinda make them act more "human like" to grab that feeling back. it is loads of fun aside from their occassional "bot-like" attitudes from time to time.

I still count it as a reaction ;-;. I very very very RARELY pull off stuff like this. Was just really proud I managed to react to a DI with a level 3 even with buffering inputs. I've only been able to react to DIs with only counter DI, but not rly with other options to counter it such as this one.

@@Apocalypse754 tbh i think its more impressive that you knew to buffer level 3 in that position due to knowing your opponent would try and DI, through the course of the game you built data on their habits and were ready to call it out and execute with a punish that won you the game. building that skill will take you a lot further than sheer reaction time!

I recommend OBS for recording videos these days. Most people use it for streaming but it works just as well for recording locally. Plus it is free and open source Also not even putting the combo behind the arrows smh.

@@ronconmin in the making of this, it originally was going to be a 14 with just the 8th note bursts as you can see in those runs. but in the end, i just had to rethink this and say, "you know what, lets just spice it up and make it a bit techy with jumps and whatnot" lol. but thanks!
