with the real thing unfortunately, it depends on the setup. some VFDs can directly accept Modbus RTU communication thus your only problem is studying the device's documentation as what request message to use. While if it's PLC controlling the VFD that depends on how you programmed your PLC on what it does to the VFD when certain modbus rtu message is received (given that your PLC is already capable of doing Modbus RTU). My work around was to either use Python flask as backend for JWT validation or write simple token based validation (saving token to browser storage). I am creating a video on the login feature.

no need to build. just deploy uibuilder once. any changes to your html, javascript and css will already take effect in ui builder. You can check part one of the tutorial. Best regards.

Hi thank you for your comment. There are two ways you can do it. 1. you can pass parameters to GET then in Node-RED mysql , create a query with where clause. There you assign the parameters passed to where clause. This means you are filtering the result using the MySQL query. To pass parameters to GET endpoint you just add like example: localhost:5050/endpoint?username=user01. parameter username will be added as JSON object in node-red's msg.Payload. Note: changing the contents of items will update the table this means doing it asynchronously (using axios) will update the table without refreshing page. Of course this needs to triggered like button click. 2. You can retrieve all the data same like the video and let bootstrap vue handle the filtering. See link: bootstrap-vue.org/docs/components/table, find the section: "Complete example" . That is a complete example of table with filter and search. Hope this helps.

Yeah, it seems I am able to do the method on a normal html page, but when I tried to do it in the vue script the script just wont show up. I have to admit that I am new to vue.js, while using this video as a head start references 😅 Is it possible for you to add some example for the edited table.vue as well? I'm sorry for all of this and thank you for the awesome lesson. This is literally the only channel that bring up vue and node-red potential as a new open-source for SCADA development.

thank you for your comment. If you are referring to send and receive data using like MQTT to web app, I will look for time to make it. As for node-red with UIBuilder, there are only few tutorials in youtube that explain it so I decided to share what I found out.

If you mean version of UIBuilder, I just find it convenient. I think they have changes on the latest version as to how to access the files in the UIBuilder directory.

@@oeq0616 as for the extra components I found no problem with latest version. This tutorial was ripped from a project I am working on and was using old version of npm packages. I didn't bother update it since it works :).

Ah ok. Any idea on how to get new library to work with it. I trident using vuetify because it had some really great components I'm it. But I can't seem to get the library to load.
