As the MV begins you hear 'The Flower Duet' from the opera 'Lacmé' by Delibes which was composed in 1881 and premiered in Paris in 1883. The ride is a Rolls Royce.. perhaps 1970's vintage. I say.. "You are the best thing to happen" Count Dimash, "You make it all worth it baby!" Most everyone agrees this is one of Dimash's greatest performances.. with a song that rocks Transylvania to its very core with a flare of contemporary Dimash to digest.. and a taste of vocals to die for! Yes.. everyone focuses on his singing.. the notes.. the technique.. the visuals.. yea! They're great! BUT IS THERE A MESSAGE?! THERE SURE IS! Anyone who watched the video, made by a fan with his cell phone, of Dimash's show in Hong Kong, had the pleasure of a first contact with the song “When I've Got You” and realized, in Dimash's own music and in the lyrics by Candice Kelly and Dmytro Gordon, a romantic, seductive and passionate song sung with Dimash's own virtuosity. I absolutely loved your reaction! Finally someone reacted exactly the same way I did. I smiled through the whole thing, I could just imagine Dimash enjoying himself tremendously being able to play a vampire. I suspect he gets weary of being portrayed as angelic. I can hardly believe that some people actually found this scary! He didn't do one scary thing, he just sang about how much he loved her and how she was going to save him.
