Man, I remember stuff like EEPC701 being literally everywhere like 15 years ago. It's stupid how fast they got popular and how fast the died, they were like PC version of fidget spinners back in the day. I never owed one, but some of my friends did, and every single of their pretty expensive EePC's was absolutely creamed by my 220$ budget laptop with Radeon graphics.

It’s funny cuz my dad got a phd from John’s Hopkins university in Baltimore md and I say in on his presenting his thesis and he killed it. He got it in planetary earth and science and taught at the naval academy in Annapolis and the coast guard academy In new London Connecticut where he built an observatory, I helped! And he put a $60k telescope in there. Now retired and teaching in Texas, he writes for several astronomy magazines. And he gets top end telescopes sent to him monthly to try out and review. Sometimes he gets things like this starscope. In the commercial I saw it said you could look at space ships. False. And yeah between that. And this guys video pointing out all the flaws and the Joe Rogan deepfake voice I saw. This is def a scam. I feel like this is a foreign company like a Chinese company. Which is why they make so many mistakes. It’s sad that google and CZcams profit off these commercials though

What is the most infuriating aspect about these scam drives is that Amazon and co. are selling these things knowing full well that they are scams. They have known it for Years but continue to sell these through their website because most people will be either too ignorant or too lazy to seek a refund. Amazon used to be a good deal, not any more, they inflate their prices 200+%, the Prime "deal" is yet another rip-off now, it used to be a good deal, not any more. Sorry I'm off on a Amazon rant,, just ticks me off that they still sell these knowing they are scams. IF anyone is curious about the drive they've purchased, because the physical drive casing, even in your system will indicate that it is the size that you expected, that's part of the scam, but if you try to copy data to it you will get MUCH less than expected. IF you want to check what the real capacity is, there is a free, open-source ap called chipgenius which will tell you exactly what the capacity is. Caveat Emptor and if you can boycot Amazon or any other company that continues to sell these.

Honestly, pronunciation is a scam. Some words have certain letters that are entirely ignored or combinations of letters that suggest you should pronounce it this way according to established rules, but SIKE it's pronounced in a completely different way that you had no way of knowing! Let's take VAGUE as an example. You'd think it's pronounced _vaug_ but instead it's pronounced more like _veig._ Confused much?

Kenny… I found this device just the other day. On the Internet. And I said okay.. I'll bite. And I clicked on a couple of additional pages. And at the end. Without ordering the device. It says it includes a, SIM card. And I thought… Hmmm? SIM card? For who? Oh? And there it was. You get your choice of Data Plans. It's an additional charge.. So it's all fake blather.. And I found that. Before I purchased the device. And so I did not purchase the device. It's a Scam. It figures. You don't get something for nothing. And I realized. It would not work. All, by itself. And so the Unlimited 4G connection. Is, only to the Wi-Fi router. And that's Unlimited! Without a data plan! Your Wi-Fi transceiver. Can talk to the little gizmo. As much as you want! With No Data, available. Hmmm? Deceptive wordage. Untrue, verbiage. Deceptive marketing. So that information is actually there. If you click through enough pages. But there were too many pages. Heavily selling the unit. Never giving up hard information. Until you searched it to the very end. So maybe you did not search deep enough for, you paid for the unit? I never had to get that far before I found this information. Where were you? You did not dig deep enough. Before you purchased, the stupid little unit. So it's just another pay for, data hotspot. With no useful data bandwidth.. For a normal person on the Internet today. I found. I typically use around, 125 GB per month. And I only stream video at 360-P, mostly. Sometimes 480. Sometimes 720. I do not bother with 1080. I certainly don't bother with 4K. That's more marketing and advertising blather at 4K. The same way most video cameras advertise, 4K. It's really 1080. Encoded as 4K. And the video camera is really only delivering 1080. Sometimes Progressive. Most of the time, Interlace. Which is really 720. And I do not need to see the zits. On, people's faces. I do not need to see nostril hairs. I do not need to see a golf ball against a vast green background. I do not need to see a baseball in front of, 45,000 people. That is only necessary for loons and Losers. As it's not real either. And while you can get a large flat, 4K Monitor. There really isn't any 4K, Video. That's real. As most of it is 1080. And it's another Scam on the American Consumers. Now I am not exactly a Technologist. I'm just a retired engineer. A Broadcast and Audio, Engineer. A real one. Who used to work for a Major American Television Network. As one of their top dogs. In Engineering. And I know a Kludge. When I see one. We referred to them as Kludge Balls. And that's when you were tracing out wires. In a control room. Pulling up the floor. Only to find. In the middle of the cable. There was some electrical tape had a little circuit board. Look! A Kludge Ball! And was a piece of crap. Some other engineers stuck in. Years earlier. Who had already retired and/or died. And we did not know what this Kludge Ball, was? As it had ceased working. And nobody could find out why? So we had to take a Control Room, off the air. And I had to tear it apart. To find out what the hell wasn't working anymore? Only to find a Kludge Ball as the culprit. Buried under the floor. In miles of cables. Ugh! So I had to rip out the old Audio Console. And design and build a new custom one! And something that made sense. That could be easily serviced. And so I did. The best custom on-air console they ever had! All custom built and designed, by me. From the ground up. Frame, parts, pieces and my design. And oh by the way Kenny. I have No, College Degree. So how can I design this stuff? I just do it. It has to be done. You have to know how to do it. As I do not need to design the precise circuitry itself. That circuitry is already available. It's circuitry in the public domain. That works. And I put those circuits together. To use them as I see fit. And since I know what I'm doing. I create lovely custom reliable, simple to service, equipment. That lasts for years and years and years. It doesn't break down. That's the way I design and build stuff. For years of heavy duty use. So some of us are not Scam Artists. We are the real deal in Engineering. When you read enough. And all that Education is for Free! That is No Scam. And the place is called a Library. Every city has a few. You walk in. You ask the librarian. The librarian tells you. What aisles you will find your reading of interest in. Then you can read all the books, for Free! Of course you don't get a College Degree. But you get More Knowledge than, a college degree. You just don't get a poor dead little sheepskin with some scribbling on it. The costs over $80,000! And that poor little sheep didn't do anything to anybody. But they killed it anyhow. Because it tasted good. And then they scribbled on its dead hide. And charged you $80,000. After they ate the lamb chops! And didn't leave any for you. But charged you $80,000. And maybe more? That's kind of Stupid. Now isn't it? Yes it is. When the information is available for free. But you need somebody to tell you what books to read for $80,000. Yeah no. That is totally stupid. And so you're supposed to get more knowledge when you get a college degree. But no! You get marketing and advertising blather. From college professors. That really do not know anything. They couldn't make the grade. They couldn't work in the Business. So they teach. About something they've never really done. And don't know how to? But their college degree says they are supposed to. But they really do not know? That's why they teach. They are mostly blithering idiots. That spent $80,000 to have somebody tell them what to read at a library. Ugh! Stupid! The librarian will tell you for free. They work their. They know were all those books are. That's what they are paid for. To help you gain knowledge. And they do it for free. While getting paid by the library company. That owns the building. That owns the books. They want you to read for free. But most folks don't know where the library is? They know were Macy's and McDonald's is. They know where Walmart and Target is. And they have frequently Studied, Taco Bell. They have a Degree from Twitter University. Now X-University. While X marks the spot. Of the Floaters in your eyes. Blocking the vision to your brain. And their brains, switch off. Because all they are seeing our spots before their eyes. And what can you learn from, Spots? You try scrubbing those stains out. But you still have ring around the collar. As you do not know what your washing machine is for? Or how it works? Without getting a college degree. To know how to put the detergent in and hit the go button. As that is very complicated. You have to choose between, Powder, Liquid or, Delicious Pods. Yum. They look so tasty! Children love them to eat. As teenagers. It gives them Fresh Breath and Fresh Brains. That are empty. And devoid of any knowledge, whatsoever. Because they went to X-University. Formerly Twitter University. With Former Twitters. So you know they are Tweedy Intelligent. I taught I saw a POODIE TAT? I did! I did see a, POODIE TAT! I win! RemyRAD

I feel like Chromebook has come in and filled the niche left behind by netbooks. They are cheap computer replacements for light work that mostly consist of the internet. Since I have a work computer to do the heavy lifting at work (on the company's dime) and I don't like to do anything but game on my gaming computer, the Chromebook has been a perfect little filler machine for me. I’ll never forget one of my earliest PC repairs, It was in the 90’s from what I remember and this Customer’s PC which was either a 486 or early Pentium PC and it was behaving very quirky and in a strange manner, It kept doing random things constantly, It turns out that when the owner setup his Computer he didn’t push the Power Lead in all the way so it was loose & ready to fall out, I figured out that was the issue fairly quickly and the Computer worked fine after I plugged the Power Cable in all the way! I had one with Windows XP and a 9 inch screen. It was terribly slow and the storage was much too small. For me, it was a total waste of money.

You didn't mention that this device in no way eliminates your internet cost as they say on the web site you showed. I see this is 3 years old, don't know why YT is recommending your OLD, OLD videos to me.

I love netbooks probably a hangover from wanting a Toshiba Libretto (totally unaffordable at the time). I've had an Acer Aspire One and a GPD Pocket 2. Love coding on the go, browsing the net while the phone charged. Had a Toshiba z20t (tablet laptop) never used it as a tablet lol. Starting to want to get another netbook in a couple of years :D.

i really enjoyed my Asus Nettop. i took it from an electronic recycling bin. cpu was obviously so under powered but it had an nvidia GPU built in. which is exactly what i needed. that cpu was always at 100% no matter what it was doing. fortunately the Nvidia gpu had absolutely no problem with HD video. I had to use some type of forked firefox and used userscripts to force mobile browsing. so while the cpu was at 100% trying to just use google, i could have a 1080p video playing right in the top corner while browsing the web. I should also add that i only used it for about a year. by that time it was already like 6 years old. probably older. lol. even when netbooks were released, they were severely under-powered so 6 years after its release, this was useless for anything other than watching 1080p videos.

Krazy Ken, You are The BEST! I love your videos and seeing you break these scams down. Can you please explain a gadget I am seeing advertised everywhere now - Its supposed to be a "Secret Military Device that increases your breathing capacity by something like 500%" OK, I may be wrong on the 500% part, but you get the drift. THank you SO MUCH!!! I LOVE YOU!!! ♥😁
