I used to live maybe 3 miles from the start of 281. We've rode up there countless times. About half way up, you can take highway 49 down to Lineville. That's a winding, scenic road also.

I don't miss stators. My current bike is a V4 with a real alternator. The stators I delt with were just enough for the bike, no extra loading or you burn them out.

I haven't had the opportunity to visit a Buc-ees yet.

Was the most fun!!!! Can't wait to ride the Appalachian Fall ride with you all. Such a wonderful group of folks and the kindness and genuine love of motorcycle family was fantastic. Even better was all the money raised for wonderful causes. Hope was have even more motorcycle family joining us in October....see you all there 🐸
