TURKEY CAPPADOCIA AFTER 9/11 FLINTSTONES ROCKS PAINTED CAVE CHURCHES FAIRY CHIMNEYS
Travel to Cappadocia in Turkey to stay in a cave hotel with a jacuzzi, eat hot bread from a communal oven, tour painted cave churches and view fairy chimneys and Flintstones-like rock landscapes!
We traveled after the twin towers attack on 9/11 but felt safe as we had been to Turkey before. Our daughter in medical school disagreed. She said if you go to Turkey I'll go sky diving. Haha. We went and she went sky diving! Yikes!
BIBLE REFERENCES to CAPPADOCIA: Residents of Cappadocia were in Jerusalem on the Day of Pentacost Acts 1:9, Believers in Cappadocia were addressed by Peter regarding persecution I Peter 1:1 Many early Christians fled to Cappadocia and made underground cities which we were able to view.
