I know I'm years late but if somebody will be here, let me say Angelo (aka Avilio Bruno) is dead. He completes his revenge at episode 13. He kills everybody except Nero because Nero killed everybody except him. He missed the shot, so Angelo did as well. Angelo said in Episode 2 if I'm not wrong, _"If I lose the will of my revenge, I will lose will of living as well."_ He completed his revenge, he put Nero in the situation he was. No more reason for him to live, so Nero took the shot he failed to do 20 years ago. Now Angelo didn't ran. Because his revenge, life was completed. He walked in peace. We saw no blood or body. But footsteps were no more. This problably symbolized of him reaching to peace, possibly heaven. Blood ruins peace so it's not in the symoblizm. Especially considering we saw so many blood in deaths in the anime. Watch it again. How much non-happy the person is, they die that much gory and in pain. Angelo found the peace. So no blood.

I actually prefer to think Nero killed Avilio. Its the "true" ending in my opinion. Everything happened because Nero couldn't pull the trigger so him doing so brings the whole story to a neat circle. Not to mention it closes the story, based in Avilio's revenge, by him becoming a casualty of revenge himself. Avilio was sick of living. To him, living was a burden he had to justify. Near the end he outright says Nero should've killed him when he had the chance. I like to think Avilio finally got what he wanted and found some peace
