The City of Oak Cliff, Texas was created in 1887 by land developers John S. Armstrong and Thomas L. Marsalis on the site of a community called Hord’s Ridge, settled in 1845. Incorporated in 1891, Oak Cliff grew to a population of 3,640 and governed itself until 1903 when a depressed economy prompted a vote for annexation to the City of Dallas.

My biological father was SRV's best friend from childhood. I was adopted but still spent most of my life in Oak Cliff. My adopted family also sold real estate in Oak Cliff. Connelly &Cheeves and Red Carpett Realty on 35 and Illinois and then Connelly Reality on Mt Lake Rd then on Hampton
I see you are driving around on Bulk pick up trash week. My Great Uncle Battalion Chief Joseph Connelly opened most of the Fire stations in Oak Cliff and Was Supposed to meet Kennedy the day he was assassinated
Dude I live right down the road from Elizabethtown. So fun fact.. Roanoke, westlake, Justin, all of those towns took over.. that’s why Elizabeth town has been dying out.. this entire area is money.. Justin is country getting richer and richer every year.. westlake just plain MONEY… Roanoke well they are known for there food diversity. So yes good video 😅

i live in Decatur since 1970 and have yet been to Stony. Passed by on 380 hundreds of times and keep saying i need to go. You don’t see concrete county roads

I don't agree with these videos about Oak Cliff. They always seem to highlight the sh**y parts. Oak Cliff is my home even though I live 30 miles north in Lewisville now. It's more nice parts than shady parts in Oak Cliff.
