Windy Ridge Park

Took my 11 year old grandson on his first real mountain bike adventure to Windy Ridge Park in Mount Airy, Maryland. Relatively new park, but lots of fun with some challenging loops with climbing, downhills and some jumps. Still really new and not very well marked yet, but the local were a big help and there is a skills park with jump lines and loops we didn't even get to try. Will definitely be...
My New Trek FX6

Gave myself a 70th birthday present and bought a new Trek FX6 Sport. It is a gravel ready hybrid with Caron fiber frame and wheels. Only weights 21 LBs without accessories and around 23LBs with accessories. Has 700cx43 tubeless tires and 11 speed cassette with singe front chainring. Added a few accessories and hope to enjoy on longer multi-day rides.
My Osprey Kayak at Cunningham Falls State Park

Short video of kayaking on the lake at Cunninham Falls State Park near Thurmont, Maryland. Beautiful area and great kayaking except for the wind. Was so windy out in the middle of the lake you couldn't hear any audio on the video.

Short video paddling my Hurrican Osprey on the Potomac River into the Conococheague Creek. It is 47 Lb. sit on top kayak. First time I noticed the seat creaking in the video so I might not have had it connected properly.
How Fast You Fall

Shjort 6 minute video mountain biking Alligrippis Trails at the Raystown when I crashed unexpectedly. Shows how fast you can go from enjoying a nice easy trail to picking yourself up out of the dirt. Just wasn't paying attention.
Didn't Know How Big It Was
zhlédnutí 864Před 5 měsíci
Took a hike up to a boulder field I found a few months back but didn't have time to explore. This time I hiked up with the sole intention of exploring the boulder field. Was amazed at how big it actually is and how little known it is. Had a great hike and couldn't get over the size and beauty of this boulder field only about a mile off a main road with few people realizing it is even there.

Hi, is there a way to private message you here? I have a couple of questions about the FX6 and my experience also. Thanks
You can message me thru my phone 7174041433
Great video I have a FX Sports 4 they are excellent bikes. What brand is the rear rack looks great?
A trek bontrager, they had to change out the seat post clamp but no big problem.

Hopefully she ACCEPTED THE LORD JESUS INTO HER HEART!!
I live in British Columbia.I love my video as zuma one twenty five
As an old mountain biker 🚲 myself being grandpa for first time with a new grandkid I can appreciate the memories your making with ur grandkid . He looks be a natural on two wheels AweSome Job 🚲
Thank you for watching. He keeps my young, so I tell myself. Congratulations on being a grandfather, best job you can have.
Beautiful scenery, looked like a fun ride. Thanks for sharing!
I hiked this two years ago after several days of storms, The locals said it was the falls were greater than they had been for years, czcams.com/video/J3X21NcP9KE/video.htmlsi=SGJlhxIbKgK70tbQ
I'm looking for a small scooter but not sure if I'll fit on the Zuma . I'm 5' 11'' ish and have a 32 - 34 inseam so I'm a little long legged . Do you think I would be comfortable on the Zuma? Thanks for another cool video.
I read that you sold it, but yours is the only one talking about weather stripping. I have a 2013 Gulfstream Northern Express Hybrid and I just bought second hand. I noticed the weather stripping needs replaced around the top of the bunk ends under the gutter lip. There is a small amount of water coming on top of the tent like yours was but none on the inside. Question: Where you put the weather stripping on the door frame, was there weather stripping on that before you put it on? Because mine doesn’t have any on there, it’s just all around the actual opening on the rv where the door closes into.
Yes there was some weather stripping there and I just put a second layer beside it and it really stopped the leaking. If I were you I'd either put a wider weatherstrip since there was none of put two rows on. you could try one row and if it still leaks add another.
@@gregghershberger7968 good idea! Thanks for the quick response!
I picked up an FX Sport 6 in early March & have put 2000-miles on it. It’s such a smooth, light weight & comfortable bike. I just can’t stop riding it!
Love mine so far but it has been so hot here in Pennsylvania haven't ridden as much as I want to. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the Zuma videos. How tall are you. Im only 5’5” and I am wondering if I will be able to ride it comfortably or at stop lights.
I am 6'1". My wife is only 5'1" and she didn't feel comfortable riding it but she could manage it. At 5"5" you should be fine because she couldn't put both feet on the ground so when she stopped she had to lean over one side or the other but her feet were only about two inches from the ground so you should be fine. Most dealers will let you try it to see if you're comfortable.
@@gregghershberger7968 thanks for the response.
Just make camp buddy.
What cooler is this?
Newair 48 Qt. Portable 12v Electric Cooler with LG Compressor, Fridge and Freezer,

Have done that up in the forest several times.
new sub good stuff
Thanks for watching
Good video. Thanks for posting 👍👍
Thanks for watching, new to kayaking, but having fun
Nice, felt like I was on the river with you!
Watched your Ohiopyle videos. I've camped there before but only biked the Allegany Passage. Are the trails easy to find, I tried to find some a few years ago and had trouble locating them. Heading to Delaware next week to Luhms Pond State park that supposedly has both mountain biking and kayaking. thanks for watching.
@@gregghershberger7968 Nice to hear from you again. The MTB trails are not as hard to find as they were a few years ago. If you take the Sugarloaf Road out of Ohiopyle, it takes you up the mountain to the Ohiopyle Recreation Area near the top of the mountain. There you will see two large parking lots, a pavilion and restrooms (Clean but no running water). There is a large map of the trails on a sign at the parking area. Most of the trails are across the road from the parking lot but many trails are on the parking side of the road including miles of cross-country ski trails. The Ohiopyle Biking Club, which I recently joined is busy building new trails at the Clay Mines area that are little hard to find for those that are not familiar with the area.
I bought the China knock off of the Zuma . It's a 150cc. I've only had time to put 117 miles on it, but enjoy it so far. I've added a hard case on the rear, and made a different windshield. Runs around 60 mph, and around 100 mpg.
Che bei paesaggi in pennsylvania c'è tanto verde 👍
Me and my dad have this bike. Its amazing
What's a rhodopac?
What's a rhodopac?
Is the zuma seat more comfortable than the Honda?
I would have to say the Zuma is because it's bigger and because it is open in the middle you can adjust your position easier.
Love your Belmont trailer. 6x10? I've got a 5x10 with standard tailgate and ramp. LOVE that thing - will never sell it!
I love the Honda Zuma but there's a lot of different models of it now from several other companies one company that I am interested in getting it from is called vitacci, the bike name is called the tank. I find it hilariously fitting because of how all-terrain or off-road it is. My biggest thing is I've seen a lot of overlanding jeeps or vehicles what the same gas canister that you have on your side mount for the saddlebags, my question is where exactly did you find that I am very curious to know!
I bought the rotopack off of Amazon but made the holder myself out of a plastic cutting board and using hose clamps to mount it
Just bought a 23 Zuma with some extra add ons for 4400$ out the door. She is fun to ride.
Enjoy, they are fun, sounds like a good deal
What's your phone mount for the phone?
I don't have the link anymore but I wouldn't buy that mount, it is held with spring tension which has already started to get weak.
When I go to the US this scooter is my first on my list to buy
Great machine and easy to ride, thanks for watching.
That was one one of the more enjoyable Zuma videos I have watched, very informative with real world use. The only drawback of this scooter is the braking, I feel a scooter should prepare a rider for riding motorcycles, but other than that it's a great little machine. Thanks for posting this.
I'm a big fan of your channel. I'm just waiting on the dealership to drop off my Zuma and my MSF course is in 3 weeks. I'm incredibly nervous and your relaxed rides help to calm my nerves a bit.
The Zuma is really easy to ride, you don't have to straddle it, just hop on, press start, turn the handle and take off. Really a great machine. Thanks for watching, good luck.
hi, we'd like to sponsor you, how to contact you?
I contacted Bluetti direct to email and they said they don't sell this display screen separately anymore.. I also found out that bluetti no longer makes eb150 nor the eb240 since 2022. They are out of production, but there must be an alternate way to get parts, or the display screen ? Do you have any alternate suggestions ? Thanks for your help
Sorry I don’t. It’s. Shame they don’t support it. U have several other power stations but I still use my 240 the most. It’s so powerful for its size. Fits perfectly I. My vehicles behind the seats to rim fudges, etc .
Mya kharid na chati hoo plz koi contact no do
Such a cool scooter
It is lots of fun. Thanks for watching
I need a zuma so bad now lol
Ouch! Glad you weren't hurt.
Thanks for watching. Still can't get over how fast that can happen. Will make sure I pay more attention .
Nice ride 🚲
Thanks, luckily I wasn't hurt but still amazed at how fast it can happen. Thanks for watching.
Hey brother do you use the Garmin for navigation, or just for safety?
Both depending on where I;m at. It has helped me several times when I got turned around on single track forest roads. Usually by myself so I also like the security of knowing I can get help if needed. Thanks for watching.
@@gregghershberger7968 I have one as well, mine is not too good for navigation but fine for orientation. I was going to add that I used to mount it to the bike, but now I always keep it attached to me. If you are at risk of getting separated from the bike, it won't help you if you can't get to it. Happy trails, amigo.
Did freezer have contents during this test
Yes had some water bottles I. It
Thanks for doing this video series. Im also a PA resident, Cambria County so a little north west of where you're at, but very familiar with your area. I've been thinking about one of these and some other scooters for a while. We had a Honda ADV 150 when they came out and although I liked it there were some things that didnt impress me for the cost, especially the seat. I've been considering the Zuma vs the slightly larger displacement Piaggio Liberty 150, which also has larger wheels. I did take the ADV on dirt/gravel roads so thats why the Zuma appealed to me, but I was a little concerned about how much power it had, being a 125.
I also have a Honda trail 125 and the Zuma out performs it easily. The Zuma just seems to have more acceleration and power. I"ve had it in some pretty steep tight spots and it's never let me down. Thanks for watching.
I love the view of the extended angle of your GoPro. It’s a great effect. This is a great video. Thanks for sharing. 🛵💨💨
Thanks for watching, was hoping to get out and ride again but only 30 degrees in Pennsylvania today.
@@gregghershberger7968 I can relate. With Portland weather, you need to get out and ride while the weather is good. Ride safe. 🛵💨💨💨
How do you know when the fuel tank is full?
There is a fuel gauge plus when you fill it, it is easy to see when it gets full.
@@gregghershberger7968 thanks for the reply. I'm going scooter shopping tomorrow. If I can get the Zuma, I will. I live in Florida and I don't have a motorcycle endorsement. Wish me luck!
Good luck, enjoy and be safe @@whateyecansee
Pretty amazing, I'll have to check it out.
I can’t wait to get mines 2023 Zuma
