Dude, the 80s was the last dribbling, the peak was the 60s. It was such a peak that the 70s had tons of great stuff, the 80s (and then 90s) less than the 70s, etc. Enough with this idiotic revisionist history that the 80s was some kind of golden time. Go listen to The Dead Kennedys, that's what the 80s was like...ie: exactly like now! The 80s is when music got REALLY generic, for all sorts of reasons. The 80s is when movies got REALLY stupid. Yes, there was some great edgy stuff done on the indie underground side of things in music, film and other arts but it was just a dumb ass time, the time of selling out. And I refuse to pretend that the sell-out decade that has never ended (we're STILL living in the 80s, ok?) was some kind of high point of culture. Culture? The 80s? Give me a frickin' break, kid. You need to feed your brain a little more with the ENTIRE historty of culture and art because once you do that, the 80s sure don't seem all that incredible.
PS: I'm Class of '87. PS: The most 80s thing is to not know a thing about the 80s, lol. It's the most shallow type of nostalgia there is. You ask most people - people who were ALIVE in the 80s - they can't tell you a frickin' thing about it. They can tell you more about World War 2 or the 1960s, or the 1860s more than they can tell you about the times they themselves lived through. It's pathetic. This is what we're celebrating? When the world decided to be stupid? Don't worry be happy! Don't make me puke.

Only for tv style content. The whole reason I prefer yt to tv is the lack of editing. Transition effects, added music, teasers, zoom ins and cutaways to name a few, all make the experience more fake and forced.

Well ... technically life is meaningless. Nothing comes with "built in" meaning. I know that sounds harsh, and God makes life possible, but WE are the ones who give life meaning through our experiences, our definitions, and our perception of it...
God's love is the meaning of life. You can make your life as "meaningful" as you want, but if when you die, you're just gone that it really didn't matter. "OH but I made other people's lives better," and those people are just going to stop existing too. Thus, it didn't actually make any difference.

Flash from the cw show had some great slow motion moments as well. He also had a wider range of abilities with his speed which looked absolutely fantastic on screen.

@@zankfilms2898 it was around the same time. Days of future past came out in 2014 same as flash. Flash also did the slow motion thing in the 2013 animated film: Justice League Flashpoint Paradox. If we look at comics, then Quicksilver would be the copy since Flash was first introduced in the 1940âs while Quicksilver was introduced in 1964.
