To be honest, I'm not sure about dimensions of the bag because weight of the bag was my major concern 😅 but according to emirates allowance guidelines total dimensions (length +height +width)of checked in bag should not be more than 300cm or 18 inches

Yes you can use Cash as well , Talking about your question regarding paying for extra weight of bag , to be honest I'm not sure where We pay for extra weight, But you can take the Guidance from help desk in the airport

In emirates economy class, Only 1 cabin bag is allowed and it should be 7kg , extra laptop bag is not allowed, if you want to carry your laptop , then you have to put your laptop in your cabin bag OR just take your laptop bag only

If your stay is longer and you are going to leave Dubai Airport you need a transit visa for that , but if you have shorter stay like 3-4 hours like mine you don't need a transit visa

No, You don't need transit visa for short layover in Dubai like one I have for 3.5 hours. But if you have stay of 1 -2 or more days , and you want to explore Dubai, then you need a visa.

So at delhi Airport they checked my passport and ticket. In Toronto Airport, they checked my letter of Introduction and Passport.

So It was Emirates flight from delhi to Dubai , in Dubai It was 3.5 hour layover. Then from Dubai to Toronto it was my connecting flight of Emirates as well. No you don't require transit visa for Dubai as long as you are not going outside the airport.

@@ashjournal my flight is air india from delhi to dubai and then dubai to Toronto it will be emirates and i have 4:45 min layover in dubai. Do i need to recheck in the luggage again?

So In my case I had a connecting flight so I just checked in my luggages at delhi Airport and then collected them directly in Toronto, But I am not sure about you flight but you can confirm this from travel agents.
