@soulmca well the black beauties are nice for the sound I go for kinda like a numetal sound or like the gorillaz I also like the color it's just jet black it just looks wild on some guitars I also like they don't cut up my fingers loll
@@TheTake0verTTO I knew the feel would be among the reasons. A lot of people like the smoothness of them. I put them more on the flat wound side even though they have some of that grit.
@soulmca yesss I'm a big korn fan also so I mix the colors of strings so bass never really sounds the same I recommend the blacks reds mix I tend to get a bright sound out of it if I tune it right every time and the smoothness if you do a fast slide is satisfying 😌 I ought ta try your style of string too you mentioned

We have the same bass. The LTd in the back. I play it but not often because it’s so heavy but i will never let it go. That’s cool!!! Oh and love the video. This beginner songs are building up my playlist and I’m learning new licks that i can use somewhere else.
@@mswhite1025 the LTD is nice .I originally bought it when I was in my chord phase. I was playing chords every chance I got on the bass. But then I started getting more and more gigs with guitarist so I had to start focusing on bass more. I do like the LTD but it isn't anywhere near as loud as it should be with the battery in it.
You are great at teaching. Very understandable Youre funny too so it makes it easy to learn from you. Your excitement about some songs are even funnier. You definitely help me add songs to my playlist and keep me on top of my learning

@@pastor1670 greetings Pastor. I appreciate your recommendation. The issue however is copyright strikes and shares. If I use the actual songs I get soft hits it hard hits. So I just do not use them at all.

Whats the bass your using and price?
The brand of bass is a Rouge. I bought the bass a long time ago. I got it for $120, with an amp, strap, and quarter inch cable. Doubt you will find it for that now

Hello. Thank you for the video tutorial. I truly appreciate it. However, I can't follow what you put as "...the numbers for the corresponding notes in the scale will be posted below." For example, in the intro, what are the first 6 notes (are all of the notes for the intro) you are playing? You have a 5-string bass so are you using the B string? Thank you in advance.

If I'm being honest I am not familiar v with the FGN series. It will all come down to preference and overall tonal options. I can tell you the tonal options are endless for the Sire
