BONES - Sail North [ Animatic ]
When I first listened to this song I was already sure I'll make an Animatic with my own characters to it.
The second main character of the book I am writing atm, Marcello, tells his little daughter all of the adventurous tales from his former life in a pirate crew, while he himself remembers the horrors he had to experience. Especially him getting terrorized by his captain Henry Champell. The video might be a little big spoiler to the ending, because Marcello indeed, survives and builds a family with his then love interest but oh well. I am not expecting this animatic to reach a lot of people.

I am finished with the first draft in German soon. The german book will be out sooner because translator costs up to 9k (and I need to save money) and translating takes up to a year too. 💀

Hi :) I think the way that you did this was very creative and a nice spin on it but I had a bit of trouble following the storyline so if someone could help me that would be great what I peiced together was father has a daughter and enemies and he works hard at something illegal I think and gets um set to rest in peice while trying to stop a wedding while his daughter sleeps peacefully maybe I'm correct?
Okay bruder. Let me sum this up for you. Marcello has daughter and he tells her about his adventurous time at sea, but he remembers back (flashbacks when he didnt have a beard) and remembers how horrible his life as a pirate was. He was abused by his captain who turned the whole crew against Marcello. But in the end he was able to get out of this horrible relationship and build a family ✨️ the backstory is the main storyline of my wip-book 🏃🏼💨

The eye is the sign of the Flag, instead of a skull. The white eye warns the enemy ships but also the own crew, that they are always watched and better dont do anything stupid 👁✨️ for Marcello its also the eyes of the Captain, who is always watching him.
