Got one it cuts grass/weeds like butter ! Thanks for the info !
Too complex for my taste. I just want to open/close the main valve remotely via the internet.
Just what I need. What's the exact model number, or the latest equivalent?
Thanks for the review! I’m on the hunt for a new robot mower.
Great video! Just saw a $599 wireless robot mower on Kickstarter. If it’s real, that’s amazing! Could you do a review on it?
I appreciate the review, but I’m still a bit skeptical about the price.
Nice review! Are there any budget-friendly options you know of?
Loved the video! Just found a $599 wireless robot mower on Kickstarter. If that’s for real, that’s nuts! Could you review that one too?
Thanks for the review! I’ve been searching for a new robot mower recently.
Appreciate the review, but I’m still not entirely convinced about the price.
Great review! But are there any cheaper models out there?
hilarious music choice. props!
I just moved in to anew apartment that smells like cat urine every one in this place seems to have cat and my apartment smells so bad I hate it! Can I spray this in hard wood flooring and do I have to leave it soaking for a week or hours or days?? Please help I don’t have pets and is driving me crazy having a clean home coming in and smelling that. I even have air purifier and has done nothing. Help with please and thank you !🙏🏻
I need to do this. But I ordered smoke bombs to light at the intake and look for leaks in the attic. Will that work??
I would be concerned w/ smoke/particulate being pulled into my system. If you're looking to send something through the whole system, I'd lean more towards an automotive smoke tester
@@thelonelandlord Thanks for the tip. I looked into it and automotive smoke us basically burning oil. So I'm not sure if that would be any better.
Ah thats right I forgot it’s basically mineral oil you’re right probably no better
As to irrigation upstream of the Flo unit, the only issue I see is a low-pressure alert when irrigation is active, and that flow is significant. Other than that, should be transparent to the Flo operation.
No smokers in here? Cigarette cost about 15 cents.
No way this works. If the contacts aren't corroded and making contact, you essentially did nothing. I have a rapid charger that's only charged a battery maybe 10 times. It seems to be killing batteries. Impossible it's going to fix that
I’m with you in theory but it’s worked countless times for me and others in comments below 🤷♂️
Thanks, great video! I see you have a link to the recalled battery. Is that still on recall or have they resolved the issue with a new battery? Thanks!
As far as I know, they have not come out with a replacement option. Another note, Stay tuned…. My turbine went out on this one, waiting for replacement and will update!
What is a tootsie bar please I Live in the UK And wondered what i could use instead.
Hard sticky chocolate candy- anything moldable and sticky should work!
Dey ice is dirt cheap, mix with water . Baby powder squeeze bottle If you're a cigarette smoker Cigars Incense Weeds
Bruhhhh, this could’ve saved my bacon so many times in the past. 😅 Glad to hear about it now though. 100 year old home…
Great suggestion, my man! Big thanks
If you’re covering that up with sheet rock, what’s the point of leaving the lathe and not taking it down to the studs?
For what I needed, it was easier to throw a sheet of 3/8” drywall over the lath and skim coat. Less demo and easier to match thickness. Could easily take an oscillating tool to the lath though after this and remove that as well.
This happened to our wood door frame because someone tried to push the storm door shut while it was being held open. How do you actually fix the wood though? I can't prop open the door without being unable to unlock and close it again
Best option (other than replacing the entry door) is to cut out the damaged section of door jamb and use a dutchman repair.
What is that at 6:14?
Just a camera tripod 😂
I would not run irrigation through this device. Irrigation should be teed off before this device. The biggest point of this device is detecting a pipe burst or catastrophic water event. It can’t accurately detect that when irrigation is running because irrational uses high gallonage.
100% accurate
False. This device should be intended to detect excessive water usage due to a leak to prevent a $5k water bill. Water damage is not the only thing being prevented here
Can you manage more than one property with the same log ins? Or do you need multiple email addresses?
Yes they make it easy to add multiple properties under one account and switch between them
What home owners insurance are you with? Ours doesn't offer a discount, might need to switch
Okay. I have to be honest as I didn't think this would ever work. I have the three Bay Milwaukee rapid charger. All of a sudden 1 bay (both 18v and 12v) stopped working. I thought it had to be an electrical issue inside the charger. I was certain of it because it's never been anywhere but inside the house so I figured how the heck can it be dirty! After careful inspection of the terminals they did not look dirty at all! I figured what the heck it can't hurt to do a simple spray and clean and it's way easier and quicker than taking the unit apart and start probing with the multimeter! I didn't have electric terminal cleaner so I used carb/choke/parts cleaner.... Do NOT do this as it reacts with the plastic and discolors it and kind of "melts" it! Anyhow, it DID WORK! Something so simple as clean the already "clean" terminals! Thank you for the video!
You're the GOAT thanks
You’re the man! It worked.
Looking at getting one of these but concerned about sprinklers. Apparently, Moen also makes a sprinkler controller that can talk to the shutoff valve to let it know its ok. Would be interesting to hear people's experiences with this.
I'm going to buy one now what perfect timing! Thank you!
You wouldn’t ever want the Flo unit to be behind the irrigation branch. It would never be able to accurately determine an actual pipe break or if the sprinklers are running. Flo is perfectly installed after any irrigation branch and IMO after any water softener because of its regen cycle.
Is there a way to check whether or not i have enough open area for this thing to work before I commit to the purchase? Video was very good. I've also seen a unit (mower) that does not require the RTK module.
not that I'm aware of but this is a great question & would be a good feature. The new version (Luba 2) is advertised as being able to use its optical camera to help make up for any lags or problems with satellite signal
Also a lone landlord. This is one of my biggest issues with my rental. Thanks! Subbed
And go figure these are indefinitely out of stock everywhere. Only one on eBay is $74.88. Ugh.
@WeTr1umph lol I know- I don’t know why they’re impossible to find… there are similar options last I checked though. I may have to start fabricating and selling them! Ha
@@thelonelandlord dude, you’d make a killing. I did find 8 in bandera Texas, pick up in store only. I’m in Ohio.. 🤣
Great video. I used this Milwaukee cut-off tool using the diamond tile blade, to cut around 18mm thick solid plaster on brick, after rain ingress on a chimney breast. Used a multi-tool with a SMART Multi Cutter Mortar Buster Blade 32mm for the internal corners and ends of cuts. Plaster was then cut out with SDS plus crank shank chisel and a brick bolster. George vacuum connected to Milwaukee didn't suck up all the dust. Still lots of cleaning up to do. Thanks for sharing.
Peanut butter is crap. I set 4 traps all gone or moved. Reset with tootsies and got 2 within 30min to a hour. Thanks!
Get UPSs to back up the Moen and the wifi. Even Jackeries will work.
Great video, thanks for taking the time to post.
can we spray it with flex seal or would it interfere with the signal?
I don't see why flex seal would create a signal problem... I have had the updated design for a year now with no issues however. so far so good!
Nothing on the actual sealing
How come you didn't install the optional sensors I Install sensors for all my clients
I have a similar issue but it’s on the metal door. Not sure how to close up hole on a metal door
Did you find a fix? I’m having the same problem
how does it know the difference between a burst pipe or simply filling your bathtub with 30 gallons of water
Adaptive learning… it begins to learn your fixtures and how long you typically run them & at what GPM rate. This does result in some false alarms especially early on until it learns. It gives you a 5 minute warning before shutting off if it detects excessive water usage… It’s not gonna catch a burst pipe immediately. The goal is to prevent hours of water damage…
What you called the extra extension piece is what you use to measure where to cut the main pipe so the unit fits snug when installed
Thanks- I also learned its used if you need to remove the unit and restore water connection
Worked for me. Thanks
Scrub Forward to 3:09 for actual use of the tool after the loooonnngggg narrative!!!
thanks for the timestamp-- I updated the chapters in the description to help!
Thanks for the video! I’m a Lone Landlord myself lol. I actually ordered the ultrajamb it looked really strong. I’ll check out your other videos for some more good tips!
Thanks I’m working on a bunch more!
It looks like the flow of detector is having issues with a water refiner system a customer of mine has set up prior to the detector. When I engage The refiner the flow detector shuts the water off
