Precision Aerobatics Addiction X with RealFlight 7
zhlédnutí 2,8KPřed 10 lety
I recently got the Addiction X to learn 3D flying, but wanted to get some of the 3D skills figured out before flying the real thing. The RealFlight 7 simulator is a pretty great way to do it! Pilot: Josh Kiepert Transmitter: Hitec Aurora 9
Park Flying with the Mini-Telemaster

Here's my first flight with a new eRC 480S 1000kV motor, 10x6 prop, and a 2200mAh 3S 30C battery. Video captured using a FlyCamOne V2 and a GoPro 3 Silver.

A sampling of flying the Cox Sky Cruiser. I got about 15 minutes out of the first battery and 10 minutes from the second.
Mini Telemaster On-board Camera

A short video of me trying out a FlyCamOne V2 with my Mini Telemaster. This ended up being a very short flight because the motor's stator came loose from its bearing and then moved out of position. Not yet sure if I'll be able to fix it. :(

The RPiCluster

Documentation, Source code, and EagleCAD designs: bitbucket.org/jkiepert/rpicluster Summary: The RPiCluster is a 33 node Beowulf cluster built using Raspberry Pis (RPis). During my dissertation work at Boise State University I had need of a cluster to run a distributed simulation I've been developing. The RPiCluster is the result. Each of the 33 RPi is overclocked to 1GHz and is running Arch Li...
One Wire Motor

Something fun you can do with a piece of wire, a rare earth magnet, and a AA battery (washer was added to compensate for my not so perfectly balanced wire bending). For a far more impressive build see: czcams.com/video/iG0pzGcy4xU/video.html
Non-Modable PSP (fat) Battery Beware

Thought I would post so others could avoid buying this battery for making a pandora battery and end up being disappointed.
Update??
Would hashcat work on this 🤔 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Watching this exactly 10 years after the video published. Still a badass setup to look at.
It may be used as a mini toilet datacenter
Buy?
Check that and next time avoid fans and heating problem with this system . this rpi4 is running since 4 years without any problem and never went over 52°C czcams.com/video/G7i6EWoYh4A/video.html
balls on the walls build i love it
That seems like a really fun area to Ride Love the Drone Footage Kept you in Frame Pretty good.
Yes, the Skydio did a very nice job. Much better than I saw with the DJI Air 2S.
Where is this?
Western Idaho, just North of Boise.
Awesome drone Footage. Keep the great work and do not pay too much attention to the negative comments!
Your drone operator should get some practice
Lol, yes. This video was captured using only the autonomous tracking feature on the drone....so I'd say it wasn't too bad considering it was filmed by a robot 🙂
Todo mundo sabe pra ficar mais de 4trilhoes vezes mais pontede precisa de led
Could be very, VERY powerful with 8gig 4B Pis.
Hi, can it be set up as 4 cluster (4 coloums) and use kubenetics clustering to have a powerful 4 cluster webserver under kubwrnetics cluster and load distrobution?
Wow. Really nice. Impressive.
if you used rp4s that would be overkill
if you had the 8 gb one it would be even more overkill
Christmas lights 🎄
Man I hope you still got this, and want to get rid of it? 🤔
How to setup sir.. ?
is this mining?
What exactly is the point of doing this?
Can it run Crysis?
I am proud of your work! I just read your dissertation
can it play black ops 2 tho
Нихуя не показал
Let's turn that into a botnet
I really hope this isn't gathering dust in a closet somewhere 😔
Can it mine?
can i ask .... What is good for all of this ?
nice christmass tree
Computationally what can this do better than a gpu or xeon?
What can be done with it man?(genuine question i know nothing about it.)
I mean, datacenters usually work in this manner. Multiple identical servers like this and network connected to all. TECHNICALLY, you can make a model that loadbalances website reuqests to all of these pi's, or you can do things like share their power with one system that can give loads to each of them for like AI/ML/DL computation which is done, but usually done with loads of machine and each machine with a LOT OF GPU power and RAM, kinda useless on rpi's with this low spec. But yeah, you could very well make a working model of Load balancing web servers between all of those machines cuz they are different machines
@@hariranormal5584 well can it be used as a super computer if you stack enough of them?
@@badhonebrahim7707 I mean, in principal super computers are technically the same thing. They also just are MULTIPLE servers, on a probably high-speed, edge hardware, and some cool technologies powering it. But yes, depending on what you consider a "super computer", you can surely do that here. But even like stacking billions of these wouldn't even get close to an actual super computer. (again, it does vary from which exact supercomputer we are pointing to at) Technically there are a lot of labs which have their own "super computers", and they are multiple servers with VERY powerful GPU's on a high speed fabric network, with even nice storage solutions. But whatever it is, the RPI can be stacked to make a "super computer" but the hardware is pretty much so useless
That is so amazing! Can we mine crypto with it? It is beautiful!!!
Hats 🧢 Off
how fast is it, I NEED TO KNOW
prolly slow as hell. cant defeat a single modern 16 core xeon still
This looks really sexy...but anyone can tell me what can I do with this???
But Can It Run Crysis?
cand you combine 2 or 3 raspberry pi and use it as one desktop with twice the power?
nope. You cant do that with normal OS options, but *SOME* workloads can be distrubuted to a cluster, but I doubt those workloads are just entreprise based stuff
Xd my cluster has 300
Through the ages, I have always been taught to use cable rather than wireless. With the existing 16 channels in the Wifi system, it does not take much imagination to imagine the possible chaos that can occur where too many computers and other network devices work in a limited area or number of channels. With the right cable Ethernet, there is a much greater opportunity for faster data transfer. Cables are also more tolerant of external interference and data security. Throughout the time I received IT training, we called Wifi "The Lazy Network", where cable should always be preferred and radio-related transmission should be considered as an emergency solution, only for use where nothing else is possible. Of course, there must be room for experimentation and development. He who does not develop, settles.
That's pretty Punk Metal
Must have taken days to setup
I wish I had that many raspberry pis
This a very interesting work, especially to learn how big servers Works with all data around the world. Many big machines with much more power are the same of this small scale. This stupid people never drop to the head in any project never will now what great this things are and how much like that change the world.
exactly what I was explaining to people who asked "whats the use" servers and huge datacenters BASICALLY operate in this principal, multiple servers serving a website is one heck of a easy but a common thing that is done. Database replication, Loadbalancing websites and webservers... etc
RGB style
What in the lord it’s heaven
Enter the matrix I see the grid tank.
A blade server?
If we want to attach storage or NAS how to do it
What work you are doing on this machine? I want to make this for deep learning. Is it still worth it?
