Taiste Talks – Avoiding Burnout and Improving Wellbeing at Work
Taiste Talks is a video podcast series that gives the stage to the people behind digital products.
This time, we discuss a topic that every work community needs to take seriously: avoiding burnout. Work exhaustion is a tricky beast that can build up over time with accumulated stress: something that people who work in IT are often all too familiar with.
Our guest is Tanja Lappi, one of the founders of the workplace healthcare company Heltti. She has also written a book on the topic and hosts a podcast called #nollatyöuupumusta. Joining her in the studio, we have Taiste's HR Manager Laura Pohjola.
We'd also love to hear your thoughts on the topic: what do you think are the best preventive actions organisations can take to care for the employees?

Hey, how do you send gyro sensor data to processing on PC?thanks
+Hang Zhou (Joe) We made an UDP server with Processing using standard Java libraries. Then on the iPhone we sent the data "raw" as it came from the sensors to the hardcoded computer's IP and port using UDP. The computer and phone need to be connected to the same local network for this to work.
