Ive heard so many mixed reviews about this game that i never got it. It seems very time consuming and if its anything like Dust 514 then it also would be very frustrating to take time to build something and then get it destroyed in seconds only to have to start all over again

Ah yes, the loud teleporting of a ship ... in the soundless vacuum of space.

The funny part is that in-universe, this sound is 100% artificial. Because you're in space, all sounds are generated by your cockpit's sound system, which is disabled when your canopy breaks. Carrier FSD's aren't used in an atmosphere, so nobody has ever heard what one would actually sound like.

And we hear everything in space. Not just that, we hear everything as soon as we see it, no matter if it's kilometers away. Clap clap clap. Star Wars in space, including the scientific idiocy.

One just has to love the awe it gives you, hearing that guttural honking and seeing the ship just appear. Especially with no high-contrast background, just the stars. Some speck grows dimmer, lighting flies and suddenly there is this huge monster of a ship appearing. Especially the already dark-coloured Farragut really can put a lot of scare, being a Spectre in the Night like that.
