there are multiple reasons for this: 1. Localhost address of the both windows and android device is different. You may need to put the API address in env file in flutter. 2. If you are using external android device for testing then, Windows might be prohibiting the access of external devices to the internal running API. For this, you may have to allow the access in your firewall or deploy your API on IIS server. Note: If you are using android emulator, then to save time, you can try this url first: 10.0.2.2:[port number] Check out this article for more details: developer.android.com/studio/run/emulator-networking.html

While using pexels API, there's no need of that. It's handled by website. We're just using API to access the images of that site.

Hi, You might need to declare your IP address and port number in env file in flutter project and use it then. A viewer commented this solution on one of video in this playlist. Also firewall also can cause this issue. You can try by allowing connection and opening incoming port. You can deploy your project on IIS server. However, I think you would still need to allow the connection in firewall. You can try either way which works for you.

Yes, you can. You can create a method and handle timer inside it and upon end of timer, you need to call capture. You can call this timer method either inside init state method or upon clicking capture button.

If the mobile app is using the same connection, then you can use the ip address of the API device with port number. However, you would need to pass this IP address in environment file, i think. If you're mobile device is not on same connection, then you need this API online. In this way, you would have to make this API secure using authentication and authorization. Once API is online, you can use its URL to access it.

Right now, I don't know which package are you using for permission handling. So, I'll give complete details to do so. Path provider, give access to application directory. However, if you want to store output image in outer download folder then you need to use another package called, "External Path". This package will give you the access to outer folders like pictures, documents, download, etc. You also need to add read and write permission inside AndroidManifest.xml file. It will tell device about which permissions are we going to implement. After that, You need to get read and write permission. To get these, use permission handler package. Hope this will help you. If you have any other problems, feel free to ask.

an unresolved reference error, it means the IDE cannot find the symbol you're referencing. This can happen for a few reasons, especially when working with Flutter and platform-specific code (Kotlin for Android in your case). it happens due to some missing imports, invalid package structure, IDE issues, plugin misconfiguration, etc. Try to clean flutter project using "flutter clean" and then run "flutter pub get". It solves the error in most cases.

It is occurring because you might be using different mobile OS or your mobile device might be different. I knew the exact folder location so I hard coded the location. To solve this error, you need to use a package named "Path_provider". You can also use "External_Path" package. If you don't want to save images inside your application directory, use "external path" package. I have used the external path package in my video "Create camera in flutter from scratch". You can check that out. However, if you still don't get that then I'll create a separate video on path providers. Let me know if you face any problems.

@@FreeTrained Okay thanks for your response. I am currently using 'path_provider' but it either saves it as a cache that's inside the android/data folder or it saves it where isn't visible to the user. So how can I use path_provider to make it visible and even appear in the gallery?

First, saving images in application directory (android/data) is provided when you use path provider. However, if you want to save the files in outer folder (means download, pictures, etc) then you need to use external_path package. this package gives you the location of these folders. Second, if you want to add these images in gallery then you need to tell the system that "you saved some images and add these in gallery." For that, you need to use media_scanner package. It notifies the system to add files in gallery. If you need more help then feel free ask.
