Biggest mistake… Business Class 777 on Emirates in Business. Arguably the worst Business Class in the world. Go First or don’t go at all. Also take note… the commentator mentions the Chauffeur Drive. This is not available on the lowest business fares, also not available on mileage redemptions that can go into the hundreds of thousands of Skywards miles… It’s more of a marketing ploy than a reality unless you’re putting out tens of thousands of dollars for a paid ticket where you could still end up in a middle seat… in Business Class. If you’re staying at a decent hotel before or after, you’re better off spending the couple hundred dollars for them to meet you and handle things.

Great video. I've flown Polaris several times. The first two times I did not go to the lounge. Huge mistake. Now I book longer layovers in cities that have the Polaris Lounge just to enjoy it.

i got scammed in naples going from the airport to the B&B. the taxi driver dropped me off 500mts from where my B&B is because he either got lost or it would have taken too long as the street are one-way. I had to lug my luggage on stone pavements uphills. Not fun. Parasite of a city

Premium Plus is a great budget option for a better experience. Also, no copay to upgrade from economy to PP, only 20k miles. Also, if you’re aiming for a Polaris upgrade you’ll have a better chance of an upgrade and it takes less Plus Points (30 vs 40) to upgrade to Polaris.

I have the same model Bambi but from 2012 and it's exactly the same. Like your upgrades and I might do those one day ( I just camp and not a full timer). I did remove the cumbersome awkward table as it is really too big for the space and found a nice round one which has a height adjustable hydraulic so it serves as a coffee table (low) or a regular dining table or even up high as additional counter space. My airstream came with a convection microwave oven that also has a grill / broiler (Cuisinart) which is awesome and I use it to cook all the time when camping. I do have a generator for extra power when boon docking and a decent size farm water tank that sits in the bed of my truck with additional water that a tiny transfer pump tops up the Bambi's own fresh water tank when it gets low. You guys have certainly made good use of all the available space.

Sometimes you got very cheap long haul business class tickets with limo and lounge access. But it was worth the flight and the bar at night in A380.
