Just like last year, Gravel & Coffee did ride out again the day of Liege Bastogne Liege to gether money for the '1000 km tegen kanker' of Sioen. 70% is unpaved perfectly smooth gravel. Ok it is a railtrack, and possible to ride with a pure racebike. Popular with e bikes and normal citybikes. It is Strade Bianche style gravel, this is what a lot of gravellers and gravelistas love. Not each gravel ride needs a koppenberg/bois de wallers style of road in it. This nominated cycle path is a perfect gravel adventure to do with the family in 2 to 5 days, with the gravel bike you can do the track in one day. So sure it is a trip worthy for a gravelbike.

Zjaloes Bart, zjaloes vent echt waar🙈😂 de Mon Ventoux mtb rit staat voor mij gepland in juni 2022 en die bike...👍 My personal favorite om m'n BMC 4 stroke te vervangen.

Very nice! What hub dynamo did you choose? I'm planning to build a hub dynamo wheel for my Bullitt and have trouble choosing between Shimano and SON dynamos. Bullitt front fork axle seems to be 9*100mm but I noticed that your hub was wider through axle model? Did you use some axle adapter?

Beste Dirk, de gpx is zowel op route you als komoot te vinden net als rechtstreeks op de website gravelandcoffee.cc te downloaden. Dit doe ik echter pas na het event. Zodat wie mee gaat in de social ride de ervaring in premeire krijgt.
Hey, it's a beautiful build. Is it a standard GRX that you are using? Are you satisfied with gearing ratios?
I did give the GRX a garbaruk upgrade with a 11 50 casette, works fine. On my kenzo fast I used to ride the 11 46 xt casette on a standard grx, is also a good option.

De ketting is de standaard ketting van de grx. Pedalen zijn van look (link in bio)

Hey Thomas, most Gravel & Coffee rides are in Belgium, but when we can travel again there will come more courses around Europe
@@derlokomotivfietsavonturen9970 thank you. Are the borders in Europe still? I'm riding here in Florida and beyond and doesn't have to worry about the borders it's a big country, but international travel would be complicated I think.

Leuke video weeral, Bart, maar als ik één puntje van kritiek heb, dan is het de manier waarop je van ene shot naar het volgende gaat dmv dat draaiend beeld. Was leuk in je eerste video, verdraagbaar in de tweede, but it's getting a little old. En een mens wordt er een beetje zeeziek van op den duur. Change it up.
Volgende week komt die van Le Gravel & Coffee, ik zal eens een andere manier van monteren uittesten. Binnen de app die ik nu gebruik is dit een van de meest rustige opties, en deze app kan je niet per overgang zelf kiezen. maar zit al een tijdje te kijken naar andere opties. Omdat ik hetzelfde gevoel heb 😉
Hopelijk vind je de nieuwe , Brugse Ommeland, beter in de overgangen 🤪

Is er een webpagina waar je gravelroutes vind? Ben namelijk vrij nieuw met de gravelbike, en heb moeite met routes vinden.
De meeste programma's als routeyou en kommoot kunnen hierin zeker helpen. Elke Gravel & Coffee rit is achteraf downloadbaar op de website, net als je op de hoompage derlokomotiv.com enkele extra routes kunt vinden.
Het geluid van pascal was vrij stil, heb de podcast in de auto geluisterd, en heb deze heel luid moeten zetten om verstaanbaar te zijn. Wel een heel leuke aflevering.
Ik weet het en het staat op de to do list voor de podcast zelf om dit nog te corrigeren. Hopelijk is dit deze week gebeurd.
