Did you get it fixed..?
Sort of.
Are you from Edmonton?
Depends on who’s asking.
Old people cant hear you. Use earphone old pals sounds fine so far at least to me.
Mine is a 96 Camry 2.2 5SFE. Just replaced the head and put the distributor body back in. Where the 12MM bolts down, it holds the distributor in one spot, and don't see any way to turn the body. Am I missing something, or is there another way to adjust the timing?
The lid flip is a Texas turbo!
lol.
Should be ashamed of yourself treating a historical site like that.
@toweleeielite is correct, i could say so much more but will just say facepalm, research properly go the easy fixs first, never leave a "bodge" as a permanent solution
I would agree.
Any chance you have parts from that left. Specifically high pressure hose from pump to reel?
From the top. It's the heat shield. Under the inlet manifold. 2 bolts. You fools
I would run through it in the trunk coming out the middle of the tail lights with that exact tip.
That’s a cool idea.
excelente vídeo, muy explicado, felicitaciones
would seem like removing the engine would make this a lot easier?
I don’t know about that. It wasn’t that bad in the end.
What was the pipe diameter for the b-pipe? OBX site says 1.7in, but that seems narrow. Did you measure?
I did not. And it had been a very long time.
TPI Gang , where ya at? 🥇
No comment about that I've done that and other things to my 90 Silverado that I was wondering other than removing the cat how I could gut it with it being 26 inches long and 13 inches wide I have seen some videos where people use screwdrivers but I would like a 26 inch long drill bit I'm assuming and I don't want anything left in there it has to be on there where I live but it does not have to pass emissions makes no sense so I must gut it any suggestions would be appreciated 👍
Can ask you one question ? . >>>> Do you get all water out before storing it in winter ?
The sprayer was in a heated garage all winter.
Thanks for the video, finding mr2s with 5sfe engine is hard, not much info anywhere
It is the un loved engine
I have an intermittent “ coolant sensor faulty” warning. Replaced the one on the manifold but there are 2 more?
good
he doesnt knw shit about anything dont listen to this guy he sounds unsure about his life
The main reason to flip the lid is, It sounds F-ing cool.
same shit here, I bought the 2200 psi gaz model 3 years ago. Paid 400$ with taxes. The pump crack like yours... I will try to get one on Amazon because the motor run fine. Frustrating.
I am hoping this video keeps going as a public service.
Your Drehblitz 11o is missing the ratchet ball and spring part where the 'little ball' goes that you mentioned. So it then clicks every 15 degree and lines up perfectly for the toolholder.
That’s good to know. Thank you.
I did them green, with the black interior looks good, the only issue is the console buttons, they still grey.
Use a block of wood and hit the inside of the trunck with a bigger hammer. The wood disapates the impact and helps it form back to normal. Use boiling hot water on the plastics to get them to pop back into place.
Bigger Hammer, I like the way you think!
volume is so LOW can not hear you with computer volume and video HIGHEST, can not hear you
Thanks for the feed back.
Time for a swap!
What kind of swap are you thinking?
@@therealboofighterkeep it traditional. 3sgte, or if you wanna go NA beams. Affordable and relatively easy.
@@therealboofighter2gr baby
@fallenfather4469 I don’t have that kind of money. That would be a great swap though.
@@therealboofighter what happened to the car??
Real sorry you hurt your.baby ..hope you can fix it ❤
What’s with the use of the shitty fishy camera lens? I hate it when people try to get fancy, and just make their video look like crap by doing it!
Thank you so much
Great video 👍, will the 2014 dodge journey rim 235/65R17 fit on 2020 dodge caravan, tnx!
I am not 100% sure, the Grand Caravan did come with a 17” option. So they might.
Update: I did it and struggled ALOT. I realized that we needed to remove more of the screws and fasteners than you did. I couldn’t get my arm in there at all with just the ones you had removed. It was a fun adventure and I wanted to thank you for your video! I recorded my experience and put it up to hopefully help others like you did for me! Have an amazing weekend
Here's an idea...do your research before doing this video..if you have to look up if stuff is compatible...you're wasting people time...that and all the gibberish that is irrelevant..a,short sweet video, is always appreciated...
So you ground the flange around the top of the throttlebody and your air cleaner lid no longer fits… Explain that because it makes no sense
The yasuni Z for your information is a replacement for the original exhaust, with which the performance is somewhat or not at all improved as the inside is limited with a partition wall. In other words, it's just an appearance, but it doesn't give any performance. The best for a factory 50cc bike is the voca sabotage or yasuni r/carrera 10.
can you use and just cut the original studs for securing the air lid into place if you have the double posts? i have a very well kept, all original, nothing missing 1994 chevy suburban silverado edition. with barn doors, captains seats in the front. all power everything and it all works. and its got the 5.7 350 tbi in it. but i swear it hauls too much ass for it to be bone stock. an old man bought it brand new off the lot and garage kept it with barely any use and regular religious maintenence for the first 20 years of its life. then he passed and gave it to his daughter who daily'd it till it was about 27. and then i paid 1500 for it with 142k original miles on body and motor. and i brought it up to 158k
If your posting a video on changing something actually change the thing don't talk you waste everyone's time
Thanks COP ...
How’s it holding up? Did it fix the issue?
I would say it did. I have not have any flickering issues so far.
Thank you! I’m going to try it
Hope it works for you.
@@therealboofighter I’ll let you know how it goes. My husbands signal light went out a couple days ago. I’m learning automotive for the first time, so it’s fun to try different projects.
Nice!
U took that spacer from under the housing there a vacuum hose on the back what did u do with that?
Sorry I am not an engineer. I wish. Those folks that designed this engine seldom ever put extra metal where it is un needed. What your calling restrictions might be there to guide the in coming air to better flow at certain engine speeds. I did build and test jet engines for 10 years in USAF. Saw some wild air flow set up designs. Not always clear why it was done the way. Can't argue with test results ya had. So enjoy. Chevy sure would have saved a lot of money per truck sold if it left off that extra plastic and metal on the TBI. : )
👍💪🤝
8 ohms draws half the current than the stock woofer draws. So it will be much quieter than when your stock woofer was actually in good condition. 4 ohms is standard in car audio.
Why bring math into this?! lol. Just messing with you. Thank you for the comment.
Was looking forward to seeing the take apart of alternator and coolant temperature sensor still a little nervous on doing mine🙃
That's pretty tight.
Thanks. That was a long time ago.
What have you noticed after cleaning the carbon? And difference in mpg?
I have not noticed an improvement in MPG. It could be a placebo effect, I always think that it starts and runs a bit smoother after I do this. I have no proof that it does though.
have this same problem , found an older solder iron in my basement never touched one before but imma give it a shot and see if it works !
Go for it!
Let me know how it turns out.
Thank you I have a broken hose. This technique should work too
You are welcome
