Might be time to come up with a sequel to Stargate Universe, after all the folks on that ship were in hibernation and Eli was left running the ship. Maybe it's time to wake some of them up and finish their trip on the other side of the universe.

It's a real shame we didn't see the 304 showing these Lucian Alliance who's boss with the Assgard wapons they should have by now... was Disappointing

Still can't believe the fanbase complained so much that they canned SGU. A decade later with nothing new, with what could've been a sci-fi powerhouse today, I hope all those whiny babies are happy.

Shouldn't the Hammond have been able to let loose on those ha'taks with its Asgard plasma beam weapons (which it should have equipped, since the Daedalus and Apollo were also fitted with them)? I mean, a couple of shots were enough to destroy an Ori warship and an Asuran cruiser, and both are far superior vessels; one shot would vaporize a measly ha'tak! I swear, the Lucian Alliance and their stupid "space corn" were the lamest attempt at creating a recurring enemy in the entire Stargate franchise!

Being a ship captain wasn’t something I really expected Sam to be but it fits her character.

Also demanding Freedom Liberty Gameplays. The HurtLocker? Who is going to clean up the infected Planet from the various SimCity technological hacks infections? The HurtLocker?

Both O'Neill and possibly Carter are more bad ass than I thought, O'Neill has (and I could not say for sure about Carter) The Air Force Sr Master Parachutist wings. Takes a little bit of work to get it. The Master Parachutist badge requires 36 months of jump status and 65 jumps of which 4 must be at night, 25 must be with prescribed equipment, and 5 must be airborne assaults (or 10 test jumps). Or it is another case of Hollywierd needing actual wardrobe people that know something about the uniform. Like in that short run TV show where the hero could jump back a short bit in time, in one episode the top Marine on the ship was a member of the 9th Infantry Division as that division patch was clearly visible on his left shoulder where ones current unit is displayed. I am not sure if the Corp allows ex-Army to wear Army unit patches on the right side which would denote having served in combat with the unit but I know they do not allow them on the left. Yes, I am aware that I am picking nits and I find this more funny than offensive unlike clowns that claim they were Seals or other Special Warfare members and never served much less in elite units. Apologize for the wall of text.

Kinda wondering why they aren't using the Asgard beams... a post-Atlantis BC-304 should have no trouble with an entire fleet of Goauld/Lucian Alliance vessels.

It's too bad that this series was such a flop. The original franchise has so much potential. I'm still hoping for some kind of reunion...

This episode demonstrated from the start how bad it was at fitting into the actual universe they were playing with. You got a General going to a civilian house, behaving like this and being surprised at the reaction Eli gives them. Anyone who actually watched Atlantis or SG-1 should be livid about O'Neil behaving this way. They straight up drop a bombshell on Eli then abduct him anyway and threaten to mind wipe him for non-compliance with an NDA he does not even get time to read. Why even give him the NDA if your going to that ? The SGC just casually accepts abducting and mind-wiping now ? They wont even give Eli enough time to pack a bag or let anyone know where he is going within moments... not going to be suspicious at all or just a product of the lazy world building this entire series was going to demonstrate for the entire run. Cut to the the Lucian Alliance "suddenly" jumping in capability to take on the SGC which no-one should be buying without a VERY large explanation on the backs of SG-1 or SGA. That fight should have ended the moment Carter said "open fire".

I would've loved to see one tauri ship absolutely destroy every Lucian alliance ship in one final megga battle before the show finally ended just to show all us fans how truly powerful the tauri is.... I'd have been happy with this....

I couldn't watch the show after Jack left. I didn't really care for Daniel Jackson, his character wasn't strong enough to hold the show .... the new storylines didn't have the magic the first 8 seasons did. It's good to see Jack and Sam again in Stargate Universe!

I hate that they tried to film this like BSG. I also HATE the way BSG was filmed.

What ruined this show was its insistence on being Battlestar Galactica. Also, the battle with the alliance makes no sense given the Asgard plasma weapons.

Lets be honest, she should love her girlfriend enough to end the *romantic* level of the relationship, certainly throw out any *sexual* parts of their relationship, and not go skipping hand-in-hand down the road to HELL together, where they really will be oneanother's abusive "wife" in Perdition; as a bad joke at their expense by their cruel *owners*, aliens far worse than the Goa-uld in their worst elements- spirit gangsters we classify as "fallen angels"/demons.

*That* was a very morally questionable series *at best*, unless you see the "physical intimacy scenes" as acting up, but still; it doesn't create a safe work environment. Plus, as a career military woman, Camile has no business being in a *sodomite relationship* at all.

Just one question. Where the hell are Hammond's asgard plasma weapons? 3 Ha'taks = 3 oneshots. This attack should've ended before start.

For something made so far into the lifecycle of Stargate, Universe really started out with some major flaws. The Hammond is used to ship people to the super top secret facility despite beam weapons that would have made repelling three Ha'taks an absolute cakewalk being for some reason inoperable? They have shielding on their own base to prevent enemies beaming people in or out, but do not make it so that they can beam their own people through it? And they can still perfectly detect gate activity through this same shielding? Still. Jack and Sam were still delightful in their brief cameos. And Rush was utterly brilliant as a character. One of the best in the entire saga. Just a shame about everyone else aboard. Show could have been truly great without the rest of them.

Can't think of anyone I'd rather have as an inspiration for my daughter.
