Green 2.0 is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that believes the voices and leadership of a truly powerful environmental movement must be as diverse as the causes it champions. Our mission is to ensure that the environmental movement is committed to justice, equity, inclusion, and diversity, and recognizes the leadership of people of color at every level of the movement.
Recap: Environmental Workforce Ready: Supporting Young People of Color
As young people of color enter the environmental workforce, it is essential to equip them with the necessary resources, tools, and programs to support and empower them. On May 30, 2024, Green 2.0’s former fellows Ki’Ana Speights, Alyssa Garza, and Kira Jones, along with moderator Yasmina Benslimane, discussed the vital tools and resources available for young people of color to thrive in the environmental sector.
