@travisricks3436 I've been using my friends patriot which used to be mine. bent the deck hitting a tiny stump, was able to fix it. Not impressed with the thickness of the deck at all. Bought a used liberty with only 100 hours and all the bearings were shot. Most new machines are having serious issues still since covid. New scags were leaving the factory with no grease in the front wheels and were failing on the jobs within 25-50 hours. Unacceptable for a $10k commercial machine.

@mohammedabdulaziz4355 thanks, I don't recall which splitter I have now, I think I'm running a passive one with a few dB loss. The other one was amplified and was too hot on some ports.

That's likely a quality control issue. However, it could also be a manufacturing issue. I've had bags (not this brand) that are shakier than others, but that's basically a bag of bacon bits. Things happen, and this is reason #3791 why I will not use some service to select groceries for me. I run into all kinds of issues with packaging, expiration dates, puffed up packaging, broken eggs, and leaked on items. No store picker is going to care. They just grab the item and click the device, and you get what you get.

I had bent deck on the last hustler and the dealer and hustler didn't goto bat for me until I left a bad review. It was pretty shady.

@justinw123 yeah it's hit or miss where to find them, scag one is expensive. Your hydros will thank you later when it's all freed up and it should be less jerky when making turns, engine will bog less etc.

i've been asked that before, half of the stuff is unavailable now, sorry, you'll have to research on amazon for something similar.

@davidsparks4611 same yard, it had different lengths, besides it it can't cut 4 inch grass then it can go back to the store. Bottom line It had a bent deck but the dealer would acknowledge it, so I left a bad review and they bought the mower back if I removed my review. Pretty messed up but that's how that cookie crumbled.

I'm glad mine is 3 years old. Haven't had 1 problem yet.

@theobserver9565 is yours climate controlled/garage kept? Ever seen rain? Don't wash the deck, water can get under the pulleys and into the top bearing and shorten it's life. The wheel bearings, caster bearings and spindle bearings are all made in china. I'd release tension from the belt and spin each blade and listen to the spindle noise now and again around 100 hours and see if there is any change. Over half the bearings on my 100 hour liberty z are shot. You can re-grease them by pulling one side of the plastic bearing cap if it's not to late. Today If I needed new bearings, I would just buy a new wheel assembly with a no-flat tire, or a new spindle assembly so you don't have to pop out the old bearings and press in new ones, it's a pain in the arse and something that shouldn't be happening on a 100 hour scag. And before the lawnmower police chimes in and says "you should have bought a patriot, tiger cat, or something more commercial" I see your posts on scag nation facebook crying with the same issues, hell there are brand new Vrides running 2-piece caster bearings that are bone dry from the factory. Scag isn't what it used to be, that's for sure.

@muyoso I have more hustler videos, I showed the blades were on properly. Some videos were put on private or deleted while I waited on resolution from hustler. Bottom line If you think I have nothing better to do than bash hustler then find another channel. I tell it like it is here. Some people have had no problems, I had tons of problems with scag and the hustler was supposed to be the solution however it had its own worse than scag issues, end result the dealer bought it back and I bought a used scag. The hustler was crap, they are owned by MTD now and customer service was absurd.
