Did your insurance go up or down after paint job? Mine is streaky and apparently I've lost a grand on the value (I really don't care about that - it's more punk rock!)lol but if it's decreased the value I want my insurance premium to drop, but on the other hand they might think it's harder to see, therefore more likely to get hit by another driver in a SMIDSY scenario.

Hey awesome vid. I am doing my van now matte in military paint.. how did you handle the last coat? Some people are telling me i need to sand it back and others that i shouldnt.. but then what about bugs etc that get caught in the drying process? Feeling a bit lost 🙈

You are not helping the island with this kind of videos. You are showing to all the few places that the mallorquinians we have to enjoy quite and calm without massive amount of people. Locals are exhausted about massive tourism, causing increases in costs and impossibilities to live in our place without expending the 70% of our salaries in rent... Enjoy the island until destroy it and then search for another place to destroy it again…a vicious circle…

Do not listen to the Motorhome hire company when they say it is OK for the +7 meter van you are hiring, it is ok for the small campers but not the XL's due to the hairpins and off camber on them which can bottom out long wheelbase vehicles leaving you stuck and the locals fuming. Use the alternate route if you want to go to Applecross or take the beautiful roads which cross the Highlands avoiding the NC500 bottlenecks.A8390 to Achnasheen then the A832 to Gorstan then back along the A835 to Ullapool to pick up the NC500 again.

Ok, looks great, but am going to have to save this, come back and change the play back speed, I realise most folk wont sit for long and just want to see the end products, but I need to see how you did 'stuff' like the frame and sealing between the box and cab, if the cooker is gas or electric, what the heating is, what leisure battery/s you used, any solar? toilet? etc etc ;) so 'I'll be back'' ;)

Fab video.... and just to add, when the traffic is banned from Formentor in the summer months, there is a regular bus service to take you to the lighthouse, it's actually a more pleasant experience as you get to se it more or less traffic free, or there are plenty of places in Pollenca to rent a bike... or ebike which is really the best way to see it.
