I cut the thorns off, sanded them smooth, used a eat gun on all the cut thorns and the heat changed it back to the original color. Looks good.

It certainly is a good looking cane with that Mase Knob, but being as though it is hollow like you said it would not be a defense aid you can be confident with. 👍

What a prat ! I love my Dragon Walking Stick. I use it to help me walk when my back goes, not as a demolition hammer. I’ve given my dragon crystal eyes. Looks cool.

Isn't it possible that the uneven serrations serve a purpose? Like are they sharp at the bottom? If not maybe you can place the head of your thumb on one of the valleys to press the blade. If they are sharpened, then one of them can be a line cutter?...

Don't all staffs share that 'flaw', the smoothness of them? I am no expert but I've watched enough videos of experts and they seem to handle staffs just fine as a weapon.
