Jumping into Azeville Battery, one of the areas the 502nd PIR was misdropped in Normandy. The aircraft was Placid Lassie, coincidentally the exact same aircraft I jumped from 5 years to the day prior on the cross channel jump from Duxford, England into Sannerville, France in 2019

A jump from the C47 9X "Rendezvous With Destiny." I started to get dragged upon my landing, so I had to release one of my risers. I apologize to the rigger that had to pack my chute afterwards! Drinks on me at Gruff's next rotation!

My 100th static line jump at D-Day Conneaut! Jumping from the door position of Placid Lassie. I jumped Placid Lassie in Normandy in 2019 and she's been my favorite C47 ever since!
Round Canopy Parachute Team at the Elkhart Airshow 5/21/23

A great jump into the Elkhart Airshow WWII battle re-enactment. The battle had an M4A1 Sherman and a M5 Stuart fighting against a German Stug and a Hetzer. You can also see some German and American halftracks driving around down there. Nothing like seeing tanks fighting below you as you float to the ground!

Made a jump on 5/20/23 at the Elkhart Airshow in high winds. Probably my worst landing yet. This was also the first time I've had to pop a canopy release. No major injuries, but I was sore for the rest of the weekend! You can hear the sounds of the WWII battle taking place on the other side of the airport. We landed really close to it the following day

My final jump of Operation Phoenix at X35 Airborne School in Dunnellon, FL. Very little to now winds on the DZ this day, so most of us made forward PLFs. I thought about making a run for the orange target, but I saw a pole and a lot of tortoise holes in my path, so I decided to abort my target run and try to get as close to the guys on the ground as I could.

I use to pull down on the risers about 10 feet from the ground and let them go at about 5 feet and my chute gave lift for a smooth landing.
Dude in front of him byte was too high. That double sewn portion should be for the safety only 🤦🏽♂️

Ok, how are you able to get up to 55? Most videos and commentary of WW2 type Jeeps (assuming with L134 GoDevil) can, in practice, only get up to 40-45 mph. What do you have that they don’t?

ADT has quite a few USMC veterans on the team. They usually wear Marine Corps uniforms on practice jumps like this

20:15 Lot of those guys looked like active duty military, and if you ever watch videos of them jumping out of C-130s and C-17s, they all rush as fast as they can to get out. That's how they're trained. Surprised that guy didn't know that, considering that he looks like military as well lol

A large number of guys who jump with us at X35 are retired veterans who served in various Airborne units from around the world. They may be too old to be active duty, but they aren't too old to be Airborne!
