Aso Radio (93.5 FM) AND TV(DSTV 392, Startimes 127, Free TV 507 and UHF 38 as well as Aso TV on Free-To-Air Decoders) is a Nigerian radio and Television station located in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria, and owned by the Federal Capital Territory Administration.
The station was established in 1997 by the then Minister of the FCT, Rtd. Brigadier General Jeremiah Timbut Useni to provide broadcast and allied services to all with the ultimate interest of the public as guide.
The main studios are located on Katampe Hill while the retransmitters are at Karshi, Abaji, and Bwari.

ECOWAS PARLIAMENT SPEAKER CALLS FOR WAYS TO IMPLEMENT FREE MOVEMENT ACROSS BORDERS.
Speaker of ECOWAS Parliament, Hon. Memounatou Ibrahima has charged parliamentarians to expedite action on the implementation of Free Movement Protocol to foster regional integration.
Addressing participants at the ongoing delocalized meeting in Banjul, The Gambia. The Speaker said the full realization of free movement in the ECOWAS area requires strong governance, based on mutual trust, shared responsibility, and ownership of results.
Meanwhile, The Gambia’s ECOWAS citizens have voiced concerns over failure to implement free movement protocol.
President of ECOWAS citizens in The Gambia, Michel Koivogui, disclosed this on the sideline of a public hearing with stakeholders on Rights of Residence and Establishment, as part of the meeting of the joint committees on Social Affairs, Gender and Women Empowerments.
Recall that ECOWAS Member States adopted, on 29 May 1975, the Protocol on the Free Movement of Persons and the Right of Residence and Establishment in the Region.
However, movement across borders still faces stiff protocols, while community citizens are faced with extortion by security operatives.
Speaking, Edwin Melvin Snowe Junior, Co-chair of the Joint Committee, assured that all complaints and suggestions would be taken into consideration and ways to implement regional free movement would be adopted.
