Delayed flight from London City to Guernsey. Was scheduled at 1925 but we left at 2035. Aurigny has no resilience, the plane due to fly me went tech so we had to wait until another ATR could be turned around and flown to LCY.

A wet and miserable day at Gatwick and only slightly better in Guernsey.We went on G-OGFC ( the third ATR G-ARAI is broken waiting for parts), more planes on the way we are told. Yes, but the T5 first lounge is very similar. I don't see much difference between first and Club either at LHR or LGW. First at Gatwick should really be called the Gold lounge as BA no longer fly any First class routes from Gatwick. So Gold holders get in.

Ha ha yes they were a bit. I didn't fancy the two options. As I recall one was shellfish or fish and the other was avocado ? BA food has hit rock bottom.

It is, but not as short as a flight I had today, Jersey to Giernsey at 2000 ft, 8 minutes (£79)

Radiosutch one of the aurigny workers that i know said that the jet will have is last Gatwick flight sometime in march and will leave the fleet at the end of the month or start of April the new atr's that are replacing it will arrive sometime in the summer I am sad that is leavening is fleet after a 10 year run it was a good run and You will be missed G-NSEY :(

According to European law you have the right to claim for compensation. Have you already done this?
BA need to sort out their Gatwick fleet. When BA do decide to operate the flight, a 20 yr old A320 pitches up, its definitely showing it's age. It's now BA Euroflyer which I suppose is trying to be more low-cost but it does not justify this mess they have outsourcing flights. EasyJet have newer planes as well. Oh well, I look forward to my Club Europe flight to RAK tomorrow on a 19yr old A321 lmao. I also wish they'd use Do&Co catering from Gatwick as well like they do with Heathrow.
Agree absolutely. BA, Euroflyer or mainline are a shadow of the "worlds favourite airline" of old. Old planes, poor food, poor drinks, old "can't do enough for you " crew long gone. Premium prices, but lower than LCC service. I almost prefer EasyJet if it wasn't for my EC status. Did a back to back BA/Qatar long haul in Dec 23. Boy how different was the service Champagne in proper glasses pyjamas, FREE WIFI etc BA need to buck their ideas up sharpish.

The settlement of Schwartzwalsalp, known as one of the most leisure areas in the summer, makes me change myself. If I feel/tend to escape from the crowded nation, it can sound better to me. The bus from Grindelwald offers its wild service through very tight and steep streets. I like to ride there. 👍👍💖💖
