As I jumped down the rabbit hole of videos and saw your video in the beginning I thought it was some sort of silly video. Boy was that a wrong assumption. You are very smart guy very talented and made it incredibly interesting video. I watched the whole thing. I am a flyer, and have attended many of those where I live. There’s nothing better than watching your plane destroy others. You have made me as subscriber to your channel. I look forward to seeing what’s next.

Just found your site. The build was awesome. From simple high school balsa wood and styrofoam to high tech stabilization electronics. I thought it was great. You have a new sub.

I'm suddenly remembering the time i bought a 4x8 sheet of foam, couldn't fit it in my van, didn't have a knife, so i just slammed it on the cart until it broke into small enough pieces to fit. Lol

Just a thought. Can't you have the props mounted behind the wing in a push configuration? This would mean the leading edge can smash the enemy without easily damaging the props. You could even weaponize the leading edge?

What is that large T shape work lamp you have?

Started with rocket and progressed to model airplanes. Had a 2m wingspan, gas powered Citabria that I crashed twice. First time it stalled when climbing, and I landed it into a tree when gliding. Minimal damage. Other time, a gust of wind close to the ground flipped me 90 degrees and I nosedived, compressing the middle of the plane - the hub where things connected. The engine was still good, despite receiving impact right on the shaft. I then re-used it in an RC boat. That was fun. And now good luck finding a good gas engine at all. Most places enforce electrics. But where's the fun in that? I loved messing with engines pre-flight. Tunning the mixture. I needed throttle control for something else, so I mapped the actual throttle to flaps, making it dual speed. The way I mapped the controls was a bit nonsensical, which made it impossible for me to fight the wind. That was a very expensive model, that I worked full time on for 3 months. Should've kept it as a show piece.

Your spinning drone was easily my favorite project so im so glad to see you revisit it Perhaps some sort of magnetometer could do the trick, making sure to keep the platform pointing a certain direction when not giving input

3 wire shielded microphone cable, can eliminate those power problems. And doesn't add much if any weight . ....trust me I spent a lifetime bending wires.
