D800 for that price, yeah that’s a no-brainer

Does anyone have a recommendation for a cheaper alternative to the Lola camera? I do like the images for it but don't want to be ripped off unnecessarily lol.

The Canon 7d. The camera Nikon didn't have an answer for until the D500. That's how good the 7d was. In fact, it's so ahead of it's time, it still holds it's own

I love shooting manual lens because it teaches you how to take photos instead of relying on auto focus. It mames you a little more slow and methodical

How does this compare to the canon pixpro?

Really enjoyable video. You're an awesome presenter. These are sweet little cams too. OG Q is my favorite, just because of how it feels in the hand. That magnesium body makes it such a dense little camera. The images are excellent too :D

You can get a dummy battery to the Sigma Merill series and hock it up to a big powerbank and shoot picture all day long.And it is some cheap grip you can buy for it as well :)

I really want to get one. I already have a camera i love to use. Was wondering, does the Pentax q take better quality pictures than modern smart phones, like a samsung galaxy 23? Thank you for the videos ❤️

I own the original Q it is a fantastic camera, I have all 7 lens except the insane priced 08 lens ( wide telephoto) the images on mine are beautiful. mounted a dmount 8mm camera lens ( 13mm) looks amazing. Next to my Pentax MX1 it is one of my favorite cameras...thanks for sharing! Fun, stealthy and great!

The Nikon D800E is an amazing camera. Buying the latest and greatest is a money pit. DSLRs are still amazing.

I think I'll order a few of these as Christmas gifts for those family members I love the most.

I love my D800E ❤! I have mirrorless cameras and for some reason I prefer using my DSLR. It challenges me to do more like making sure my exposure is on point and I'm forced to look through the view finder not the screen! Shooting mirrorless is like a double edge sword, it is convenient for run and gun Shooting, but it makes you lazy in a way 😂. With my DSLR I have to check and touch buttons and expose correctly, and it just makes you work a little harder and I appreciate the images a little more!

Was pretty disturbed when I first saw the ads popped up on my Instagram. Selling what essentially just a stand along webcam with a screen to people for $110 when there's so many good old digital compacts out there rotting in a Goodwill for less than $50 or even $20 is peak consumerism. This video need to get more attention before more people fall for their deceptive marketing.

That "2.7k" video footage the Lola produced was so buttery smooth and crisp. 😆 A fun review and a cautionary tale rolled up into one. Hoping to see you review and shoot some point and shoot Nikons, Canon Powershots (G series), etc in the future in this same vein!

I had to stop someone, before they bought a camera like this. I ended up buying them a great little old new in the stock Samsung camera that was absolutely superior to these "China knock offs" The person loves it and uses it everywhere, given the horrible specs of the camera you showed, I could imagine a person being frustrated with it. Even if they are only posting on TikTok, Really sad, I have collected several digicams from thrift shops and yard sales, that I could use as an everyday camera and I spent less than $20.00 on most of them. hi there! i have a similar model of the camera, c830-l but i have no idea what the buttons on top are for other than the power button and shutter release, and still have no idea how to transfer the photos to my laptop. i have tried some card readers but most of them are too small to fit the smartmedia card. could you possibly make a video showing the functions of the buttons and perhaps how to transfer the photos? thanks so much!

Those photos are looking really awesome! Been thinking about analog cameras for a while, but I don‘t like sending in the film etc. Would this be a good alternative? The vintage filter seems to be pretty precise for that „Vibe“

i wanted a d600 with 5000 accutations, but i got one with 80k accutations. i still want another one with less accutations. i'll look for a d610, which is newer, and should have way hella more less accutations. 100%

To be honest, I'm also tired of the race for crystal-clear focus and megapixels. I sold my FUJI XT-4 and X-pro2, and my Ricoh GRIII has been sitting in a drawer unused. All these cameras took incredible photos. But for the past year and a half, I've been shooting with the Nikon D800 + 85mm, and despite its weight, size, and lack of stabilization... I just love it. I'll probably switch to a 50mm as a golden mean, but I'll still carry this amazing camera with me. One important point: when I walked with the Fuji on my shoulder and bumped it against a wall, I worried about the camera. But when I bump my Nikon D800 against a wall, I worry about the wall-wondering if it got damaged!

Just bought the camera for my two kids. I wish it had a wrist strap to help prevent dropping. They are excited to use it on their coming trip.

It's 12 Pixels when shouting in RAW, I should know I have 3 of them as one of them was modified to shoot IR shots, and also I have the S5Pro too. Love the models along with my Mirrorless Fuji's. Good Video.

I have both a D810 and a Z6 and cannot decide what camera I enjoy more. I keep telling myself to sell one and concentrate on the camera I could/should keep it until I can make that decision I’ll shoot with both👍

I still have a bunch of my old DSLR bodies and corresponding lenses. I love the feel and process of acquiring images through them as I have been shooting since ‘03. With that said, I couldn’t give up my newer mirrorless bodies that I use for my professional work. Nice video though

I had a d800e back in photo school. was a beast for sure. Any camera over 24mp should never have an AA filter thats for sure.

Are the images shot in Raw or JPEG ?

I came here out of curiosity due to the fact there are a couple of them for sale at CEX in the UK for just £60 each. Which is pretty darn low for any useful camera... even one from 22 years ago.

Awesome video!. I had my Nikon D810 for about 8 years and I have an itch deciding if I want to get a new Z mirrorless camera. but I have invested a lot of money on high end lenses already and I will not be gaining anything with a new system besides the new AF technology built into those cameras. I only shoot Portraits on location or in the studio and my D810 has always produce crisp sharp images. I think I will use it until it breaks.

cant agree that these are great portrait cameras - skin tones are wild and cannot be edited to be accurate. unless..... that film like asthetic is what your looking for. not portra film more like kofak gold. imo thats why you buy these cameras, for the film like look that is far from the clinical colors of modern cameras. these 2 sensors made by sony are all over the place and the sony alpha series cameras utilize these sensors to similar effect but with different color science - i find them to be even worse for skin tones. but again that may be what you are looking for.
