Camping in the Mountains of Northwest Vietnam
Setting an overnight camp about 4 hours trekking from the nearest mountain village, amazing location. Even so far into the forest, there were signs of some deforestation from locals so we took some wood scraps that we found on the ground. No living plants were hurt.

Actually, i free climbed the tree but in the next tree camping i did, i set up a rope to ascend up.

Yep, that looks a bit quieter than Toubkal! So that's the pass between Imlil and....? What time of year was this and the Toubkal descent? Are they both big days out, or multi days rides?.... I am so pleased to have found someone who's actually done these trails! Thanks.
It is a passage from Imlil to Tizi Oussem, quite amazing and not too many people like Toubkal...It was in February so you can see some snow, but it was ok. It's all one-day rides, having a "base" in Imlil. A lot to explore and see around!
Dan Critchley This pass is called *Tizi Mzik* at an elevation of 2480m where the video is started. Few people know this pass and it's not crowded.

Is this the main trekking trail from Toubkal summit, past the refuge, and on to Imlil? It looks good fun, is it worth doing? I am planning a trip there in spring, do you have any advice about routes, or anything else?
Hi there, yes it is this one...The panoramic views and trail itself really amazing can be demanding but what sucks little on this main trail are all the Moroccans taking lazy tourists up the Toubkal with donkeys so that can ruin your fun when descending down as they block the path and can be also dangerous. There are fewer people off-season but can be snow higher up. There are also some other rideable amazing tracks in the area, check out my other video from the passage above Imlil.
