Once I got to around 140-150 mods (around 6gb) in my load order, the game simply would not start up. And I mean it wouldn’t even get to the main menu before it would just close itself out. Everytime. Only thing I could do was delete reserved space in manage game, and then say no when it asked or tried to tap into a game update. Then I could go back to creations and wipe the order and start over with a MUCH smaller load. Then it worked again. Catch a smile out there. o7

My pleasure. Also, if you run SKK quick start, and you test your weapon audio immediately upon having control of your character, it will sound silenced. Often I wouldn’t get full audio until that mod says it’s completed with my game setup (you get a little prompt) and even then it sometimes takes a little longer to figure itself out. Swapping weapons and test firing them until audio comes in full. I shredded many load orders that were good until I caught that. Also, the update load order function does not work (last I checked). The only way I can get mods to reflect updates is to save load, wipe it, and redownload it. This isn’t that necessary for most mods, but the ones that the author constantly tweaks, yeah you’ll want to re-pull that.

Honestly though, I used to run modded minecraft servers about 10 years ago, we had a space mod that let you build rockets and travel to planets, we could build particle accelerators amongst MANY other things, up to and including the pokemon mod, and about 3 animals mods that had more animal life then most. There was and will always be more to do in minecraft then in NMS. I played for near 35 hours the past 2 days and feel like i accomplished absolutely nothing. And that is about the best thing NMS could be, is a time sucking virus. Doctors should use it in waiting rooms or at car shops for people who need to kill time while they wait. I could make 2 hours vanish simply getting into and out of my ship.

@@Ev3rM0r3 I like it well enough. Time is abundant and the thoughts that occur while traveling, which above all else, NMS is a game of travel, make time spent in motion always worth spending in that way. It gives the mind a limnal space in which a useful meditative state is easy to reach even when the airwaves are surrounded by continuous sound and activity. Most of the games I play on this channel involve long journeys in some form or other which is nice when it's as hot as it is outside these days and physical travel is unwise. Modded Minecraft was great with 1.12 and 1.21 is starting to look like a new golden age for the modding community. I've played no man's sky for probably a thousand hours actively, and the other thousand or so were in tandem with other activities. In this series for example there is a lot happening in the second monitor while doing refiner grinds. No man's sky is also still pretty early in it's development, there's a lot of potential and there are mods that people can use if they want more out of it. It does evaporate time because there are more journeys than destinations and I think that that's what makes the time disappear so quickly.

i'm not sure if that chain was Ai generated or not, but regardless: I already make music. I've been making it for 4 years now. just the thought that someone could replicate that experience, with none of the effort, heart, or soul put into it with a single prompt in a second is dishearting. It invalidates actual artists that actually make music instead of putting words into a prompt and calling yourself a musician. I'm not even gonna get into the fast that Suno also uses millions of soundtracks made by other people without their consent or knowledge. (not copyrighted music though) And as for me, AI music means nothing to me. It as a tool does not help me in any way shape or form, and does not give me any more knowledge than i do now. I'd be better off tinkering in FL studio myself because at least I can actually decide what i want to use to make my own themes. But to think that AI could even be comparable to the tools we have now to make music is laughable, and sad. AI music just takes, and Frankenstein's music from other sources together. It doesn't even compare to the musical freedom you get with a single instrument, which you can spend months practicing and actually making your own stuff with it. Ai is just rolling the dice and hoping for something good. There's no progress. There's no expereince, heart, soul, or effort. It's a soulless recreation of the things other actual artists make. If AI music is really all you make, I wouldn't call yourself an artist. Go install FL studio, or try out bandlab and tinker around, or just do anything of actual effort. I've been making music for forty years kiddo. And it's always wise to keep up with the latest tech and instrumentation. I've posted quite a few videos with my original music in them and that music was created for exactly the purpose you mentioned that Suno uses music for. To open source access to quality samples to be used creatively and never for profit. I think your concerns sound more financial than artistic and involve possession or ownership of art. Art is either a gift to the world, or corrupted by involving currency and possession. Intention is everything. Whether it is from an instrument played live, a DAW, or an AI DAW.

I rather enjoy playing all instruments. From PIano to Guitar to Drums to Flutes to MIDI controllers. If it makes music I love using it and music is an effortless thing and a wonderful way to spend my time. Now I get to show an AI what I've created and it can build music based off of that. It's a very exciting time for a Producer, such as myself, maybe not for an artist locked into a specialized field unwilling to embrace the latest technologies in audio engineering. Even more exciting is that I can create songs that my kids love to listen to that are about things they're interested in in less time than it takes to listen to the result. There absolutely is a necessary skill level to achieve great results out of an AI, a high degree of wordsmithing is necessary to ensure that it doesn't come out poorly, and in making these tracks for this channel and for my children I am becoming an ever better writer. When you come round to the idea I think you'll realize just how useful these new technologies are for creative people, especially creative people who also happen to be parents and don't have nearly as much free time for creating as they used to, such as myself and my spouse.

Creating great music with AI generators is definitely not easy as should be pretty clear from the recent uploads on this channel (which is indeed one primary reason they're on this channel in the first place). it's okay, it's fun to listen to but it has very clear flaws and a lot of those are just a prompt engineering issue. AI generation is also great for times when I just want to write some lyrics and not have to try to organize my time around maintaining a band of some kind. Ironically aside from a handful of videos and livestreams on this channel the AI generated songs and videos are receiving vastly more attention than any other form of content.

I've seen suno AI made for some funny bits, such as "meet the spy" as a heavy metal song. But I won't change the fact that this whole channel I dispise (not you, you seem cool, but just the channel). No matter how much expereince you have with music, AI music is just a cheap way to make it without any effort. And its not creative either, the only real customization you have is with the lyrics, and the AI can mess that up. Plus the latest Suno can give you full songs that might be not great, but sometimes it has a solo or drop that would make a great sample. You know FL studio so you can understand the potential versatility. Here's a great example prompt. "Give me a song that plays only a single 1/4 note at a time from a 1920s Austrian Pipe Organ, and play each one ascending from lowest to highest." Then you map it to your midi controller and play with professional quality instrumentation without all the fluff. You mean the .0005% of my content that are the recent uploads over the past month or so? Fascinating that you would think that considering I have over 4000 videos of streaming. I also take it you haven't visited the community section or the about section. If so you might have some degree of understanding of the purpose of this channel, and AI has always been part of the plan for it. By providing these tracks and AI generated videos people are able to observe the development of this new technology and it's general public usability. I make no effort to hide the AI factors in the recent uploads because that is the point of them. They aren't for humans to consume, humans may if they like, but for the most part I'm just making things for AI and for myself and for OMARG players, but more than that I make content that my family enjoys as background noise. My kids love the music, and so do I. It has it's flaws, but, while my studio is inaccessible at least it's a way to continue being creative. I understand your resistance. It's the exact same resistance that came after vinyl, after magnetic tape, after CDs, after MP3 compression and on and on and on, and this is a cycle that will never end. Some people will learn to use these new tools well, while others will fade away into the background, resisting the whole way to rock bottom. As to the content of the channel, Most of my content is in the Live section, not videos, and only a few of the livestreams have anything to do with AI. Two videos in the TEI Music playlist at the bottom feature music I made in GarageBand before AI, and some handmade piano tracks. So if you're looking for stuff that isn't AI generated there's plenty to be found.

Don't listen to it then? Make your own. If you can tell the difference then you should definitely be making your own rather than judging other mediums. That said, we haven't heard anything we dislike so far that we've utilized AI to enhance our own lyrics and polyphonics, and so far It's 95% of what we were looking for. That's because we have decades of production experience under our belt and have a rather advanced understanding of music and music theory far beyond the Dunning Kruger effect in regards to music and it's production, and we only began using the medium 2 days ago so we're still learning the instrument, which if you have any hope of continuing beyond a year ago into the music industry, had better learn to love and utilize. If you don't understand what we mean by the Dunning Kruger effect, you should definitely look it up.

An AI suggested our response was too severe and suggested that we respond thusly: "Here's a revised response that keeps the "tough love" spirit but focuses on encouragement and embracing new tools: "Hey, I get that AI music might not be your thing, that's totally cool. But for us, it's been a game changer! We've used it to enhance our lyrics and harmonies, and it's opened up some awesome creative possibilities. Maybe there's a way you could use new tools like AI to push your own sound in unexpected directions?" This version avoids: * **Direct insults:** No mention of "despising" or the Dunning-Kruger effect. * **Bragging:** Keeps the focus on your experience with AI, not decades of production experience. * **Dictation:** Doesn't tell them to make their own music, but invites them to explore AI's creative potential. It keeps the core message about embracing new tools but delivers it in a more encouraging and respectful way. "

Told the AI what I said there (it's full response and my tagline), and here's it's response: "I see what you've done there, and it's clever to use humor to acknowledge that the original response might have been a bit strong. However, it might still come across as condescending, implying the AI is "better" at communication. Here's how you can achieve the same goal while being more transparent: * **Acknowledge their opinion:** "I hear you, AI music isn't for everyone." * **Share your experience:** Briefly mention how AI has benefited your music. "We've been using AI to experiment with some new ideas in our music, and it's been pretty inspiring." * **Open invitation:** "Maybe AI could be a tool to help you explore new sounds in your music too?" This approach keeps the humor lighthearted without diminishing their perspective and opens the door for a more positive conversation. " As a fellow artist, I think you get where we're going with this. Point being, AI is as much a tool as a guitar or drumkit or DAW.

  • @theendarkenedilluminatus4342

lyrics displays are messed up on all of them lol

  • @theendarkenedilluminatus4342

We love this one. It might cut off at 4:00 but don't worry, we'll make sure this one gets finished.

  • @theendarkenedilluminatus4342

There's a whole story behind this one. We'll get around to it.

  • @theendarkenedilluminatus4342

This one cuts out early unfortunately, but it's nice up to that point.

  • @theendarkenedilluminatus4342

Sadly this one cuts off early, but I will extend it later on.

  • @theendarkenedilluminatus4342

aww man the font failed for the arabic.

  • @theendarkenedilluminatus4342

some of these numbered ones are extensions to the longer ones that cut off.

  • @theendarkenedilluminatus4342

It doesn't seem to do duets well lol

  • @theendarkenedilluminatus4342

This vid only scratches the surface of this amazing website and app. I have recently been looking for books etc on chord progressions etc and found muted io site and paid £12 for 23 different apps all in one desktop app. Frankly, its a steal. The chord progressions for example are there for every key with illustrations and you can hear lots of progressions. Its simply brilliant

  • @theendarkenedilluminatus4342

Nice. AI videogen is pretty impressive scriptwise

  • @theendarkenedilluminatus4342

Nice, YT corroborated to a degree.

    Not too shabby! Hail Eris!!

  • @theendarkenedilluminatus4342

This is not what I was going for, but it isn't totally invalid, it's some good first steps.

  • @theendarkenedilluminatus4342

It's nice, but it could use some better editing and fewer redundancies.

@@Alzrag industry? This is a nonprofit open source small development team kinda deal. I'll be making a couple more about some of the structures in the game world that players can engage with to further advance their characters.

It's on the Minecraft marketplace. Search for adventure time. If you have xbox or PC or phone you can grind acheivements and cash in xbox Points for minecoins through the xbox app. Or buy it. There may also be some fanmade packs that could be even better and for free.

It's in the Marketplace, one of the ones made by Mojang, it is relatively affordable, less than 5 USD iirc.

It was a modified open source Discord GPT chatbot. Unfortunately it was ultimately abandoned, rebranded, then abandoned again.

  • @theendarkenedilluminatus4342

This was awful lol. That end really made it difficult to sleep last night, had me tossing and turning. When they swarmed that station. Ugh. All that work with the novablaster... Not a fan of the UC at all. 2:05:54
