I dont say video is wrong but its very conflated and simplistic. Medieval period was 1000 years long from 500 to fall of Constantinople 1453. The facts stated in video are true but they wildly varied over millennia and country. For example technically they had printing press in medieval period and some rudimentary printing existed before invention of printing press. Justice system varied from no justice thru torture, ordeals, to judges and jury and anything between (ordeals were not common practice). This video should be little longer explaining this is from certain period not whole medieval times otherwise people have this dumb Hollywood perception of middle ages where everyone is stinky, covered in mud and rags, with rotten teeth and dumb and brick or burning at stake.
