Why sing the way we were. Just lackluster. Sing one of the hits
Maxwell's father. 🤔💯
❤❤❤❤
Big crush on Martha. So beautiful. Mike Douglas' Show is very underrated, if not completely overlooked.
I love they’re beautiful sparkling pink outfits and their gorgeous hair they look pretty in pink in their pink outfits don’t you think 🤔
RIP eternal and beautiful peace to the ULTIMATE Supreme, Ms. Mary Wilson 🙏✝️🕯🎶🎤🎶
First time I’ve heard 2024 wow
❤❤❤❤❤❤
As a music major in college, I read quotes from the likes of James Brown, Etta James, Patti LaBelle and Aretha, where they convey the purpose behind REALLY feeling a lyric...and it starts with connecting what your SOUL is telling you to do, with what your voice is capable of conveying. And as James put it "when you connect your voice with your soul, thats when the Holy Ghost walks into the room". Thats what Natalie is doing here...when she closes her eyes on "I Cant Say No", she's not even there...she's not being self aware at all. And her SOUL is taking over. When singers like this are in that state?....you will often hear them singing notes they didnt even know, they could sing. this is one of the reasons why I love me some CZcams...because people are so generous, when it comes to posting old content of the greatest singers we've ever seen or heard. And Natalie is one of those singers. And she's rare in that she started out like a comet with this voice that just blew us away...she then went thru her substance abuse struggles...but when she was in treatment, she stayed away long enough to get her health and voice back to where it was. She didnt come back before she was ready. And when she FINALLY pulled it all together, her voice was in such great shape, it damn near sounded like she had never abused it in the first place. Unfortunately, we didnt see that happen with Whitney...and by the time Aretha stopped smoking completely, it was too late for her to resolve all the damage she had done to her voice. Natalie, is the one vocalist, who knew that it was going to take a lot of time to get her voice back to where it once was...and she committed herself to being patient and diligent. I miss her A LOT. And I like to think if she was still alive, she would probably be doing more jazz than anything else, because jazz was her foundation.
In my humble opinion, this is Smokey's sexiest song!
Wooooooo ❤❤❤ don't make them like this anymore sob
The Original Supremes
That’s a hot track!!!! 🔥
Heavenly music straight from the universe
When he strain to hit notes he looks like Bob Marley
Priceless footage
Hello

GOD ALMIGHTY - JEAN TERRELL IS MAGNIFICENT!
Big up South London "Just Good friends".❤️🎶
I love this song
Smokey is still great and he will always be🎉
She left that stage like a boss 😊.
7:56 she should have been the top black female singer of the 1980s but sadly it went to really untalented people
Very underrated singer
Love me some Natalie Cole❤❤
Wish they would’ve recorded “We’ve only just Begun”
My Lord, my Lord, my Lord. What a gift that you gave us for short while. Thank you❤
How can dare she dig into my soul with her outstanding vocals, instrumentals and acoustics from so far in the past?
I NEVER saw this before!!♥️♥️♥️ Natalie Cole was NO JOKE. Thank GOODNESS for live recordings. And thank you for posting this.♥️♥️♥️♥️U Natalie Cole.🙏🏾
I knew Natalie could sing but I had no idea she could SANG. I see why she had Aretha so shook!
I love this era of Smokey's music....The start of the Quiet Storm era!!
No, I did not meet Chuck. I was her first agent in 1971at UMASS. I convinced Natalie that she had the talents to become a 'star'. Just because your father, was famous doesn't guarantee anything. IT TAKES WORK. Lotsa wook. I'll make you a star. But you gotta talk with your mother and tell her you are a singer and NOT A DOCTOR! c20-24inkRWBEE
Rootsy gospel style.....❤
Smokey and the miracles.rules!😊
Unbelievably smooth. One of the smoothest tracks I've ever heard.
I remember this song from my childhood in the 70s.
My baby making song ❤❤❤❤
Screaming 😱😱😱 to the top of my voice 👩❤️💋👩👩❤️💋👩🎶🎶💞💕🔥🔥
An actual live performance with live musicians. Imagine that 😞And Smokey was not Bsing, nor were the background singers-SUBLIME
💕💕💕🥰
Does the guitar player use a Gibson L5 or super 400 here?
Martha,I met once. Nice lady and so we're the vandellas.
Where are the singer and writer too busy huster in there small lives get real come out....
The arrangement on the ending of this performance, when it picks up and gets a little groovy it's actually better than the record to me.
Somebody About 2 Make A Baby
This is why we all loved black culture.... 2024 is a different world
This song takes my breath away 🥰🥰🥰
Explosive !!!
When I came in here before I mentioned her performance of “God Bless the Child”, but I MUST note how fantastic Ms. Flack’s “remix”/reimagination of The Bee Gee’s “To Love Somebody” really is. The way she rearranges that song is truly incredible. Now here in this upload we do not get the full performance (but I’ve seen it elsewhere, and I’ve seen her perform the song live on a completely different video), but her version of this song really makes you feel the mood and tone of those lyrics. The way I feel about this song is how I feel about Al Green reimagining “How Can You Mend a Broken Heart”. Both masterpieces. 💜💫✨🔥🤌🏾
