Here's my opinion of CFers. They're people who abuse the system, groaning, and moaning about their lung problems. They get EVERYTHING covered for them. They are getting Resources, that need to be given to the patients who REALLY need them. Like the home ventilator and tracheostomy patient. The Home Tracheostomy and Ventilator Patient often has very thick secretions, gets mucus plugs, relies on that equipment 24/7, and these patients get frequent infections. But medication that could help clear these secretions, for example, DORNASE ALPHA, which could be given to these ventilator patients, to thin their very thick secretions, is restricted to the CFer. THAT IS A SHAME, and It's TOTALLY WRONG! They give Trach and Ventilator patients HELL when It comes to trying to get them a Vest, or Other airway clearance Therapies Instead of being nice, and giving it to them, they Are wanting to restrict it to the CFers. THIS IS RIDICULOUS! And Is down right Cruel! I understand, you want the CFers, to be happy and healthy, so they can paint their nails to look nice, and so they can do their thing, but here's the thing. There are SICKER patients than CFers. To be honest with you, the CFer isn't that sick, however they sure go to the hospital and get their CF Tune Ups. Do Trach and ventilator patients get these routine tune ups? NOPE. They gotta be really sick to get put into the hospital. However, your average CFer will get put into the hospital routinely, so they can get their bronchoscopy, and their sinus operations, and why not add an endoscopy in with all that stuff. A trach patient actually has to NEED THAT!oh, and Get this. A lot of CFers, are still moaning and groaning about Pathetic stuff. For example, the fact that they have to spend a couple of hours doing their VEST, or their IPV, and their Nebulizers. They moan and groan about how they can't wear Artificial nails, because well their nails are clubbed! They moan and groan about feeling well, and instead of being able to have children, they have to spend their days, doing therapies, and taking Medications. Here's the thing. Most Trach, and Ventilator dependent patients, canot do half of the stuff the CFers can do. And if you want to know how I know all this moaning and groaning Check out the CZcams channel, "The Frey Life!" This person, her name is Mary. You'll find tons of her videos, where she's crying, because she's tired, or she doesn't feel like doing her treatments, and It's pathetic to hear her complaining about how she can't wear Artificial nails, and when she couldn't get the IV infusion for her Migranes, and had to take the IM Injection, she was VERY salty, as she referred to it. I'm thinking, "Grow some Sense Mary! You get your dornase. You had no problem with that. You got your vest! You get all this nice coverage, because you have CF! The CFers are covered for EVERYTHING, pretty much, and apparently, when they aren't they become salty! The point is, I understand CFers may be sick. They were born with a genetic disease. But the coverage for important supplies, and medications shouls not be restricted to the CFers. And the CFers need to see a psychiatrist, and stop groaning about little things, like their nails, and having to take their treatments!
