10 years later my memories continue...

In the process of what’s looking like losing my dog of 14 years, just praying for a hopeful scan tomorrow… I’ve lost dogs in the past and potentially looking at losing one now, so I feel your pain man… 18 is incredible for a pug, you clearly took extremely good care of that animal…

I agree completely with this kind of punishment.However if you spank or hit kids now CPS steps in & takes your kids away then you're arrested & go to court possibly prison & a 3rd degree too from CPS as well it's just not right.

Our family pet bird died a few months ago. He was a white Java Finch. He brought so much joy in the house, flew everywhere in the house like he owned the place, which is nice because our other pets (Hamsters, goldfishes, loaches) didn't have that kind of freedom. I never liked caged pets. The bird lived in a small cage, but he was free to come in and out as he pleased. He loved to dance on the laptop and desktop screens while we worked, hopping up and down and singing. He caught some kind of virus that rotted the tips of his toes off, and it spread to his lungs and had hard time breathing for several months before he died in the cage. I was not his favorite, but just the last days before he died, he flew into my bedroom often to rest on my chest, as if to say goodbye.

I lost my dog recently. I loved her more than anything and she felt the same way about me. I cried when I lost her. She left a hollow place inside of me that I don’t think I can ever fill. I’m just glad that she is no longer suffering. If you want true, unconditional love as a man you get a dog. Thank you for your mentorship I’ve been following you for years now and I’ve acquired a lot of wisdom from your channel. I can honestly say I understand where you are coming from in this video and I can also feel your pain.

I keep saying that my 15 year old dog who died in my arms last year was like a son. I’m going to stop saying that from now on, because he was my son. ❤️

Sorry for your loss Matt. I remember the video years ago where that shady vet did a poor job on Cash and wanted to put him to sleep, and you refused. You can rest easy knowing you did everything to give him the long lasting life he deserved. I've wondered that myself in younger years, not being in the place to help my parents with family pet health issues financially. I adopted my own dog right before the end of 2022 and am making sure he has a happy and fulfilled life regardless of the cost.

This is tough to watch Matt. I'm glad you came back with a video. I'm in tears again. You did good man.👍🏾 I'm 6'5" and this brings me to my knees. I listened and saw your pictures of "Cash" when you were with him. This video touched me. It helps me. I'm going back home and I'm going to hug and kiss all 3 of my Jack Russell/Chihuahuas. I rescued the Mom when she was a puppy from a lady that was on meth. This puppy later had two litters of pups 6 the first time and 8 the second time. I kept one pup from each litter. They are literally a family. They have been with me when I got sick with COVID-19 back in 2021. They all stayed with me on the recliner. They were with me through thick and thin, past relationships, and past friendships that didn't work out but they are still with me. I always think about the "Dreaded Day" but I will show them the same love and appreciation that I have always shown them. Matt, you're a "Beautiful Person" with a "Good Heart." God bless you man. This was a hard video to watch, especially the first half. I have a cat I adopted from rescue 5 years ago, he was 2 months old then. I almost lost him the first year to a terminal illness, but I saved him with daily injections for 100 days on his neck area and that cost $4000. He was days away from dying, but managed to save him (illness is called FIP). God Bless Cash and God bless you for not giving up on him as well as giving him the best life possible. May he rest in peace

I know exactly what youre going through, i still have a photo of my dog i lost 12 years ago infront of me right now by my tv. Its heartbraking but part of you should feel proud of yourself and happy that you gave your dog such a nice life. Youre a good man 🙏🏼

I agree Matt, this happened to me when my GSD Sonny passed in Feb....Only thing through my mind besides missing him dearly was "I didn't walk him enough times", "I didn't take him to the park enough times" "I didn't re-stock those treats he likes as often" "I didn't buy enough dog beds" "I this, or I that" etc. Like a horrible wave of guilt. However, My Dad had to remind me I took him for Lord knows how many walks in his 12-year life on this Earth, Took him to a huge number of different parks, He NEVER went hungry, had Ribeyes and Porterhouses' on every year on his birthday and was always well taken care of and was nothing short of spoiled. No clue why I felt like I didn't do enough...Especially the last year and a half or so he was unable to walk as far and was having trouble with using the restroom and jumping in the car or on the bed but I do feel grateful that he was spoiled til his last day watching me work from home while he relaxed on the bed like an old man. Until we meet again Sonny! Take good care of Cash up there...

What the heck?! You have ocd?! I thought you as a 'real smart man' with the fit mental health.. Ocd patients behave like ED8s. Believe or not OCD isn't a disease. U don't have to do do those f_kin rituals. What the weird thing is that. Do only u have to do and need to do which will lead u to the success. U do that cuz u don't have enough discipline. Being so disciplined is only one solution to that OCD. And now I can understand why do don't want your gf to check your phone😂😂😂😂

Its hard, ive lost my mom age 16, and ive being alone since this young age. I felt depressed, lost, but in the end, i know no ones lives forever, and the people we lost doesnt want us to grief on them. They wanted us to be happy. ❤

I remember when I lose my dog Ernie, he was old and beating up another dog we had. We had to give away our German Shepard which was hard. Ernie got put to sleep and it took 3 years till my mom bought a Chihuahua. We had Selena for 12 years, and she passed away. I do miss my pets but they are in a better place. Glad for the memories that will never disappear.

Myy dog ​​was almost 14 a Bouvier. I had seen him born in my house and raised him on a bottle. My dog ​​was deaf Matt. You know, I didn't notice, my friend, because he was playful for so long and still had puppy pranks Unfortunately, my ex also left me 2 weeks earlier, back to her ex. That was a nice one on the chin too! All I know is to say take your time Matt, there is no maximum limit associated with sadness.

Hi Matt. I'm an animal lover I like cats more than dogs but I definitely love dogs also my last kitty cat he was one month shy of 23 years old and when he left me I figured out I did not want to own animal because for me the one moment of passing was way more powerful than the 22 years of fun I feed the neighborhood kitty cats everyday butt the loss of my cat after that long I didn't realize that one moment would be more powerful then 23 years of life
