"No one came back". Never been to war but know many who have and this is so true, but it's also true of all sorts of traumatic experience. My life has changed in many ways over 5 decades, some things you don't come back from, you just learn (hopefully) to use the experience to your advantage. And while I'll never be a cold blooded killer like Tommy I do look up to his character for the fearless ambition and constant strategy. He knows who he is and stays true to it to the end.
