Very cool concept nice design, but there’s some things that I see failing. Looks like a lot of cheap material. They probably spent a lot in shaping the metal body but instead of selling me the cheapest smallest boat in that model for $70,000 which I’m sure will be much more, they could have kept the old aluminum standard panels and sold me that smallest version of this model for 10 grand less! I’m a little weary on them using their Rotax motor on an outboard drive that’s brand new for mechanics to work or up charge you for extra hours for repair if they can repair it! The rear swim platform is a smart idea, but I’m not sure to what cost , when I can buy an inflatable 6’ x 15’ x 6“ floating platform for $300. Also, thank you Greg from product strategies for teaching me that if nobody claps for my accomplishments, 6:10 I can just clap for myself and get a couple pity claps. If nobody was clapping and seemed impressed it’s because no one knew the intricate struggles that were defined to be important. Behind-the-scenes hard Work doesn’t translate to an audience who doesn’t make boats. I’m pretty sure people instead of clapping were thinking why is this guy sound like he’s reading a que card very poorly when he should be eating drinking and breathing all this information???! It doesn’t instill confidence and doesn’t sound genuine!

Absolutely the worst idea ever, you killed the Evinrude for an idea that only fits one manufacturer niche. Missing so much of the market, hoping other manufacturers will adopt an idea that is in no way proven. What horrible businesses planning from BRP. You had a great platform, could have been updated for emissions, reliability and even a four-stroke for so much less than the development cost of this product. Coming from an Automotive New Model and Research background, who ever was on this development team should be let go immediately. What looks good on paper isnt always whats best for your customer base. It may be great for its application but for future paypack, this will become a warranty nightmare. The average person would never be able to work on this product, so you lost that niche of boaters just on that point alone. Not to mention what salt water will eventually due to a submerged motor. Trust me, salt testing doesnt remotely repeat actual environment conditions. BRP is so good on other stuff, but totally dropped the ball on this one.

Thought this was the best-looking pontoon I ever saw. Then I got in one today, and it has uncomfortable seats. Like literally - the one thing you want in a pontoon is lost. FORM OVER FUNCTION does not work for a pontoon. Well it does for brochures and videos. Good thing I didn't pay $100k for one. haha. And a submersible engine - not a good idea either.

Owned and loved my Evinrudes back in the day when they knew what they were doing. Have zero confidence this will work out.
