Great video, Ram! You certainly captured the grandeur of the Annapurna Region. Franny did a professional job of narration. She had me feeling the pain and exhilaration one gets when trekking in Nepal. This video makes me yearn for another long walk in the Himalayas. See you next year, I hope.

We should not forget that all early fifties expeditions, also those before the successful 1953 Hunt expedition, started their approach trek from Kathmandu Valley, not Jiri, which was just another unremarkable village out the route. Road to Jiri was not finished until 1985. I also wonder why you take the customers through Tengpoche both on the way up and way down, when there is an alternate much more scenic trail high up on the other side of the valley. The High Scenic Trail via Mong La and Phortse to Pangpoche offers much better views than the unimaginative route via Tengpoche all Nepalese agencies seem to use without giving any thought to giving customers more for their money.
