Something that will help it look more cozy is maximalism! That slanted portion of the wall is a great space to put an old map or some framed art pieces. The more things you have I that space the cozier it will look. I would also suggest heavily securing them to the wall with multiple screws or finish nails, that way your child does not knock them down and is unable to remove them.

I highly recommend not being super quiet when your baby is sleeping. we keeped our house at a normal noise level and our kids can now sleep through anything. My brother-in-law didn't and now if the kids are sleeping he and his wife can't make a sound.

I have one just like it and it has a partner and my cousin has it. But both had the extra fluffy seat added for our great-grandmother, so he removed the seat on his but I am still thinking about it. It is pretty comfy like that. Lol

I'm sorry but just had to add to the comments in saying that you are giving that name to your little girl FOREVER, and oh my god the repeating herself a thousand times, explaining and bullying she is going to have because of you. Do you really want your daughter to remember you for that? I have a couple of friends who have this problem, one was called a very long name after a Virgin (typical in Spain), she shortened it to 3 letters when she went to university and never uses the full name and nobody even knew she was called like that. The other got called a hideous name because it was "tradition", her grandmother and greatgrandmother had it. She hates it. Don't do that to kids. I have to say some of the sugestionas here for coastal themed names like Marina and Coral sound so much better and will be so much easier for her. Its not too late.
