I installed a aem intake on my 15 FXT. I’m not getting any intake noises as u were in park or neutral 😢. I don’t know if a tune might change that or maybe my turbo is not working as it should. Any recommendations?!

That paint kit is for touching up small bits like the edge of a door, boot lid ect, not for half a wing, as soon as you polish it the paint will come off.

According to Amazon Customer reviews, the Rupes model that works is titled, "RUPES LHR15-5" Backing Plate". Be careful when ordering, there is a similar Rupes model that is also made for the LHR15 but the keyway for the M8 hole is configured differently. When in doubt, search the webpage using the LOOKING FOR SPECIFIC INFO? and search for "Bauer". One model will come up with positive responses as to fit, the other will come up with negative responses. Note: Both Amazon models are listed with the same manufacturer's part number ‎980.027N. And while the product pictures show different size keyways, the Customer Review picture appears to show identical items were delivered to both sets of customers. (I'm at a loss as to why one set of customers says that it works, while the other set of customers says that it doesn't. YMMV.) EDIT: In retrospect, I believe both Amazon items listed with the same manufacturer's part number 980.027N will work for the HF Bauer 6" Long Throw Random Orbit Polisher. Pictures posted in the customer review sections are identical to the Rupes 5" backing plate that I received (properly fit my HF Bauer 6" Long Throw polisher). I believe the comments about the Rupes 5" backing plate NOT FITTING the polisher are in error.

I came yo comment about me tsking mine apart today, I'm more concerned with the comment about the offset rods. Those are simply for assembly the actual "offset" doesn't matter if the caps are properly machined.

With all due respect , anti seize isn't a lubricant or grease . Its purpose is in its name , To not seize a long term bolt . It would have been easier if you used bearing grease or a synthetic grease ...

This is the worst company you could possibly go through. Terrible customer service! Shipping took forever to get here so my local shop was able to take care of me instead. Called to make a return on an item I would no longer need and Jason was completely rude the whole call just stating how he would be losing $100 in shipping if I returned it. I’m sorry your business is doing that bad that $100 is killing you but returns happen at the end of the day. Like I said I old definitely recommend a different company. The exhaust isn’t even all that great anyways. Welding on it is very amateur. But overall I would return anyways after speaking to them on the phone and receiving the worst customer service ever. Once again take your money somewhere else this company does not deserve your business!

Nice setup. Is the suspension stock? Did you experience any rubbing with that tire/wheel setup? I have 2017 forester XT as well and I'm wondering if ENKEI RAIJIN 18x8.5 +45mm and FALKEN WILDPEAK A/T 235/55R18 will fit with stock suspension and no issues.

just an fyi; just make sure no water can get in the light + harness. I've had the common issue where it would short and your accelerator will go offline. have to downshift in order to bring it back. But apparently, when it shorts, it makes the ecu think you're braking, hence the accelerator goes offline.

Nah, the limit is the whole cvt itself. Pulley/chain slip, they’re just not meant to hold a lot of power. They only have to slip once any amount and they’re junk. The upgrade is throwing the whole cvt in the trash for a split case or sti 6 speed.

I've been learning about FA engines and i think they can handle it. I know the engine will be less efficient but as you said, if you look for power just change to a wrx like you did. You should spray PB Blaster the night before when trying to remove bolts. 👍🤜🤛. Also, only use Blue Threadlocker on bolts you want to remove and get a torque wrench.
