Way late comment but my pair of pennies... 1. Stronger springs. If you can find springs for old school bike shocks, they are just the right stiffness for mountain boards. 2. This might be more useful on a sandy beach being pulled along by a kite or a wing. The big wheels will -- with luck and skill -- overcome the intitial resistance of the sand. Start with a 5m traction kite, or a 6 metre wing.

I like the design and good tutorial! Can you add two more blades and a ring around the propeller? I want to power it with a 24mm D12 BP motor. I will give you credit for the design on my channel.

Tip: whenever your using the blower feature on a Shop Vac (or any vacuum with that feature) use a separate hose for it, as using your normal vacuuming hose that's caked with dust on the inside is going to be quite messy when you turn it on with it plugged into the exhaust port.
