Deleting Enemies with the Largest APHE Shell in the Game | T30 in War Thunder
Hello everyone and welcome back to the channel.
Today we are playing the first event vehicle I actually managed to unlock, the T30 Heavy Tank. As an avid enjoyer of the T34 and T29, when I first got the T30, I was a bit underwhelmed.
However after coming to my senses and realizing that long reloads result in higher firepower (and more fun), I decided to take this thing out for another joyride, and what a time we had.

Use the Yak-9K with this lineup, it is somehow still 4.0 45mm gun in the nose lasers AA and smashes tanks and other aircraft.

How about this challenge: Take the Sdkfz.234/2 "Puma" into a 5.7 game and try to get the first place on your team. Yeah, not much of a challenge with the kind of teams German 5.7 gets, but it might be fun nonetheless.
@@peasant8246 nah this sounds like a lot of fun I’m going to definitely do this. The 50mm is pretty strong and I’m pretty sure it gets APCR. Coupled with the mobility and recon I think I can make it work.

@@AdamBrzozowski I’m fairly busy with life at the moment, and work is in a weird space where we aren’t all that busy (at least my position at the moment). Makes me miss college but I don’t miss the deadlines they gave, so I feel your pain! It’s made me realize that 90% of my job could be done from home so I’m going to try and push for that here soon. (The fun part about the US is it’s common to drive 30min-1hr one way to commute to work.

I main Germany 5.0 - 6.0 but I've always done best with Soviet 4.0. I've had games where I felt guilty getting kills 'cause I could tell the people I was fighting were really trying (I've been there) and I didn't have to just cause of what tank I was playing. Just my personal experience and feelings though I'm sure other people would disagree.
@@angry_zergling lower tier USSR is definitely an easier experience compared to the other nations. Could we claim Soviet bias? Maybe. Or it could be that the vehicles of the time really were strong and introduced earlier to the war so they have little choice but to place them at their current BRs. Either way if I’m having a rough day and need to just enjoy the time I have to play, I’m choosing low tier USSR so I don’t sigh even harder
When in doubt, add armour to your already heavily armoured heavy tank. Some of those kills were so good, like the cupola shot on the chaffee haha! Cant wait for the next video!❤

You should totally do a video on sim battles, maybe bring a 6.0 german lineup? Also i think that the plane review alongside the tank review would be a great idea!
@@AdamBrzozowski sim battles are different, but I personally like them just because it brings a sense of “I could be killed at any moment I should be careful” that realistic doesn’t have. I’m not an Ace pilot but I can do okay in planes. I’ve got some ideas but I would like to show off some planes some days.

@@lagstabsop6590 they can’t angle man. It suffers against chemical rounds but let’s be honest, all heavy tanks do. Just because it’s a tiger doesn’t make it invincible. People get too overconfident and put themselves in stupid positions.

@@driver5724 oh I have it… sad that it doesn’t have the majority HVAP belt anymore. I haven’t flown it in forever though. I’m a big fan of the 262 narwhal.

@@peasant8246 the Tiger H1 is one of my favorites so I try not to play it like most brain dead German main. I may or may not have two framed pieces of art on my desk that have a Tiger h1 in Africa and another with Tiger H1’s, Tiger E’s and panthers in a convoy.

@@Fin4L6are Sim is even more hardcore than this. There’s zero HUD for your teammates so you have to rely on them pinging their locations on the map AND vehicle identification based on team composition. You’re also limited to commander and gunner views only. (In gunner view the gun’s fired through gunner sights so it’s not as accurate as usual. Still a fun time though!
Did you know: the upper hull of the Sherman II is slightly stronger than the American M4A1. I loved playing this thing when I unlocked it and taking it out after getting knocked out in my Cromwell.

@@PolarPlays_ It's true, the Sherman II as more angle on his upper front plate meaning it has more armor but also a new weak point.
HVAP at 3.7 is pretty neat too

Fun Fact: you can one-shot a Hetzer by shooting the MG on the roof with HE... even the Sherman's HE... it's pretty reliable

@@peasant8246 from my stock games I can tell you how it went: not well. I fought that one guy with the German t-34 and KV-1B though.
I dont really like shermans very much, but the british ones tend to do much better imo. The british 76mm gun has so much spalling and penetration that noone should complain about it lacking aphe haha. Great video!
Also i believe that my comment in the previous video got deleted for whatever reason, so ill say it again here: Try out the Char 2C from the french ground tree. Poor armour, 12 crew, very slow, and best shell has little penetration but compensates with a lot of explosive filler. What more could you need? As you said, you like challenges, so a crawling building would seem fit for a video!

Episode 2 of asking for M901 because why not Also I’m so exited for the T1E1 (90) because it’s gonna be the lowest tier Usa (not open top) 90mm and in a down tier should be unstoppable. It also will get the secondary 37mm along with full reverse (it goes just as fast forwards as it does backwards).
@@321cool I’m excited for the 90mm T1E1 as well, I think it’s going to be a force to be reckoned with. The 76 version is so much better than the M6a1, but the new 90mm lacks the stabilizer that the 76 has, so it’s a trade off between firing while mobile, and firepower.

If you look inside the Driver and co driver there is two mp40's on the inner wall. Just not useful

I love ultra low tier vehicles like these! I wish Gaijin would decompress low tiers to better balance it, so that more people would play it, instead of jumping straight to Shermans and T-34s
@@peasant8246 ultra low tier is so chaotic it’s fun, unlike high tier which is chaotic and painful. Speaking of pain, I unlocked something you might like last night… and I have to say, I will be seeking a therapist.

@@edfrench6095 I was not looking forward to it but I must say, it’s a solid little half track. The 37mm does its job well when played correctly. It tanks rounds and you get overpenetrated a LOT. Can’t do sharp turns at high speeds or else….you know.
The M109A1 is not a Paladin. The term “Paladin” specifically refers to the M109A6 version of the M109 self-propelled howitzer series. Maybe we will get it one day tho. 😊

the m109 is not really my cup of tea but I do love the fv4005 and in a pinch I can have some fun In it and the 15cm at 1.3 in Germany that thing Is goofy you should try that or If you want to sealclub play the sdkfz at 1.7 full auto 37mm with aphe great vid man
I'll eventually play the 15cm German vehicle. I remember when the abrams made it's appearance, people were spamming it trying to get God Mode. Should I try again? 🤔

Could be the joy it brings you to finally use something in the British tree with some explosives lmao. The M109G is an enjoyable variant as well. The shorter barrel makes it feel much more maneuverable without sacrificing too much range.

The first kill I got with this thing was a M56 and it was by hitting the ground next to him that knocked them out. Glad to see another upload.
